its a great tripod and pretty sturdy and well made but you might want to add some weight to the base of you want to lean it forward.

There was no manual in the package. Where can I find the manual online? Or failing that, how do I pair the bluetooth remote?

You turn the switch that’s on the side of the remote to the on position. Then you go into your phone settings under Bluetooth and select it from the device list to pair.
