Just received it today. Finally bit the bullet and purchased it after reading rave reviews for the past several months. Have been wearing it for a couple of hours now. Please note that I am no cologne connoisseur, and this is a simple layman's review. All in all, I do think it smells good, but how good is a matter of personal preference. It leans pretty hard into the vanilla. I know virtually nothing about cologne ingredients, but I detected the vanilla immediately and still can after two hours. It's definitely not what I would describe as "masculine" or "intense." It has a very soft, laid-back vibe. For reference, my concept of "masculine" includes colognes like Sauvage, the original Halston Z14 (RIP), Creed Aventus, etc. My own litmus test for a masculine scent is to imagine lining up 100 random people blindfolded and having a man wearing a particular cologne walk down the line. Then ask each person (1) whether it was a man or a woman who walked by, and (2) if they say "man," ask how certain they are. If all 100 say they are absolutely certain it was a man, then you have yourself a masculine fragrance. As for this cologne, I do think you would have at least a few pick it as a woman wearing a relatively masculine perfume, and a few more than that would be less certain it was a man. To any old-schoolers out there who may remember the scent of Avon Skin-So-Soft lotion, that is a close cousin to this product. Again, to each their own. Personally, I prefer a much bolder, manlier scent. I want a cologne that, if I'm standing behind someone, makes it clear beyond any shadow of doubt that the person behind them is a full-blooded man to the hilt. Unfortunately (for me at least), that is just not the case with this product. So, therefore, I am obviously not thrilled about having just shelled out $150 for a cologne that I will seldom wear. UPDATE — March 9, 2026: For what it’s worth, I have been wearing this daily since receiving and I am in close proximity with people at work, (about half are men, half are women), and not once has anyone made any comment. Also, since my previous review it has occurred to me that this cologne could almost be a unisex fragrance. I don’t mean that as a criticism, but more as an FYI tidbit.

This perfume smells great. It has a pleasant, long-lasting scent—my husband even took a shower, and he still smelled amazing! Highly recommended... It’s smooth and smells like an intriguing man. 😉

El pefume es una belleza, el aroma es muy rico que en mi caso duró un poco más de 6 horas en piel y más de 12 horas en ropa, eso es un punto bastante fuerte del perfume y hablando un poco más del aroma es un poco dulce, en la salida se siente fresco pero eso dura minutos, una vez secando resulta esa parte amaderada y la vainilla con leve toque ahumado. En lo personal me encantó el perfume. Estoy feliz con mi compra.
