This works well for my computer. I like that the plug in turns so that it fit the way I needed it to. At first it did not seem like it did turn, but it does - the actual prongs are set into a circle that will rotate with a bit of effort, but that's actually good because once set it will keep it's position unless you purposefully move it again. It has an on/off switch but it is on the end. That's what I needed so the cats would not step on it and turn everything off. It has been working perfectly and I've had no issues at all with it. It comes with surge insurance. I've never had to use it, but I had a friend that lived in an apartment with no homeowners that filed a claim with Belkin - he had to send in a letter and a good bit of various paperwork- some on his computer, and also the strip itself, but they took care of him. I still wish when they made these things they would give more space between the plug ins. Everyone uses these boxy adapters these days and they take up room lengthwise.

Great quality product! I got this because I wanted a quality cord that will limit the risk of a fire. I think it is worth the premium price to buy from an established brand like Belkin than one of the random Chinese brands on Amazon…especially if you’ll be using this for a long time in a place with expensive equipment (office/TV/computers/appliances).

I was a little hesitant about buying this given some of the fire hazard reviews; however, I already had one in use for several years with no issues. So I bought another. I love that the plug is flat and that it can be rotated so that the cord itself can be directed where I want it. The strip itself is small enough to be tucked under a piece of furniture or up against a wall. Because it is so compact, though, larger power packs can block off some of the outlets. And the strip has outlets facing one way only, which could also cause problems with power cords blocking access to some. Unlike larger, more heavy-duty surge protectors, this Belkin one does not have a light to show whether it's working or a switch to turn it off. My advice is not to overload it. For most uses, though, it should be fine. I haven't had any trouble with my two. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

The plug rotates to your outlet needs. This is exactly what I needed! One change to it: the device needs a light on it. The light would indicate whether or not the unit is working. My last extension cord like this had a light on it that let me know that it was giving power. This one doesn’t have a light and what the light would be good for as when I plug it into charge my iPad, this way if my iPad isn’t charging, I can determine if it’s the iPad itself, or if it’s the device. When the old power strip had the light, the light would be Green so you know that the power strip was on. Just a small difference which would make a difference to me, but maybe not to other people.

I needed a surge protector with an extra length cord and found a 7 foot cord. It was perfect!! Also happy it was white.

Bought more of these recently. Excellent brand name. Excellent quality. Been replacing my older cheaper power bars and surge protectors. I think I have 6 or 7 of these now. No issues.

El multicontacto se siente de calidad y es estéticamente bonito. No hace nada de ruido. Los contactos están a buena distancia aunque hubiese preferido que estuvieran horizontal en lugar de vertical los contactos. Compré un segundo multicontacto ya que me pareció bueno.

Just what I needed, a power bar with a flat rotating plug that doesnt stick way out from the wall, therefore enabling me to push my dresser closer to the wall. Material and quality are very good and the 6 outlet bar is more than enough for my needs. Belkin has always made good products at a reasonable price. Recommend it highly.
