Great value and superb range of sockets,. Haven't broken any yet despite my best efforts. Ratchet very comfortable in the hand. Descent case as well. Holds everything in place. Delivery was rubbish, opened our gate and threw it on our drive, but that's not Amazon's fault . If your looking for a durable impact set at a reasonable price then this it. If you don't need an impact set consider Amazon's socket set with three different ratchets . Updated 23/2/2026. The direction change lever sometimes gets stuck in the middle which can be a little annoying. There is a hex screw holding the lever in place. Take it out, put a tiny amount of lock tight on the end of the thread , put it back in , tighten, then back off a little until loose, bit of a nuisance but can't be bothered getting in touch with Amazon , also the lever could be a little higher

Convenient little set, build quality isn't amazing but good value for money for what it is. Handy size and sturdy carry case with a good selection.

Really pleased with these, after recently changing the brake pads and discs on an Astra K, I realised I was somewhat short on a decent sized socket set, I do have a couple of others but none that seemed to have the bigger sizes needed. I have found with Amazon basic items that as with these the quality is perfect and they are well presented in a decent case. These came securely boxed and on opening the case was also cellophane wrapped. Once opened the sockets look and feel quality and are coated in a thin film of oil with a good selection of sizes upto 22mm Ratchet feels firm in the hand and sockets click nicely into place without any wobble. To release press the button and off they come. With these you get the feeling they will last and surpass the test of time. If you are in doubt don't be, just buy them.

Seems really well made and good quality. Great selection of sockets, everything I need in a compact box. Make sure you open with it facing the right way up, the bottom set of sockets aren't clicked in place.

Affordable and built to last. Mine takes a beating daily and it’s yet to fail me. The texture of the paint feels nice in the hand and grips better in greasy hands. The colour seems to last better than others with more resistance to scratching. The added bonus of some of the sockets being cr-mo means you’re not worried about it detonating on the end of an impact wrench. For the price I really can’t fault it.

Decent occasional use socket set. Could do with a longer extension bar. Would probably struggle on rusted 10+ year bolts. You can't get leverage on the short handle and need a breaker bar over it.

Antes de comprar estuve comparando bastantes sets: DeWalt, Tekton, Crescent y varios más. Buscaba algo que viniera completo en un maletín, con vasos cortos y largos, alargadores, adaptadores, sin tener que ir comprando piezas sueltas. Al final este fue el que mejor cuadraba por variedad de piezas y precio. La entrega fue al día siguiente y el maletín llegó muy bien embalado. La primera sorpresa fue la caja en sí: se ve mejor en persona que en las fotos del anuncio. Detalle tonto, pero los cierres son blancos, no verdes como parecen en algunas fotos, y se agradece porque quedan mejor. El conjunto pesa unos 4,5 kg, se nota que es metal de verdad y no un set de bazar. Las piezas vienen cubiertas de aceite de almacenamiento, así que lo primero que hice fue limpiar cada una con un trapo seco. Me gusta saber que llegan protegidas contra la corrosión, aunque hay que dedicarle un rato a limpiarlas. El acabado es negro mate, y ya nada más sacarlas parecen usadas, como se ve en las fotos donde se notan las marcas en el recubrimiento. A mí no me importa, es herramienta, no decoración. Un detalle que me gustó bastante: cada vaso tiene el tamaño marcado de dos formas, con la inscripción impresa y además estampado en el propio metal. En las fotos se ve el mismo vaso por los dos lados: uno con la inscripción y otro con el relieve. Así que aunque con el uso se borre la pintura, la marca siempre va a estar ahí. La carraca es bastante compacta, como se ve en la foto en la mano, lo cual viene bien para trabajar en sitios apretados del motor. Tiene botón de desbloqueo para poner y sacar los vasos, que quedan bien fijados. Con los alargadores igual, quedan firmes. Ya lo he usado para cambiar la batería del coche y todo funcionó perfecto. Un punto que me molesta: los vasos cortos de 6, 8 y 10 mm no quedan bien sujetos en sus huecos del maletín. Cada vez que lo muevo se descolocan y al abrirlo toca recolocarlos. Hay una plancha de espuma que se supone que los mantiene en su sitio, pero no aprieta lo suficiente en esos tres. Voy a meter algo para que ajuste más. El resto de piezas sí que quedan firmes en su sitio. Otro dato que no sé si es relevante para todos: los vasos de bujías no llevan goma interior para sujetar la bujía. Son simplemente de metal. He leído que normalmente llevan una goma para que la bujía no se caiga al sacarla, pero estos no la tienen. No sé si es un problema real porque de momento no los he usado para eso. En resumen, si buscáis un set completo con todo lo necesario y no queréis gastaros el doble en un Tekton o similar, este es la mejor opción que he encontrado.
