Henckels, the budget brand of the premium brand Zwilling from Solingen, Germany. What can be said other than.. damn, those knives are sharp...and keep the edge !

We get a lot of use out of these knives, prepping salads, casseroles, any vegetable or fruit dish. We have Henckels steak knives we have used for 2 decades with no sign of wear and only minimal maintenance effort. These seem to be similar high quality. Reportedly OK for dishwasher but we always hand wash them.

These knives are very sharp right out of the box. They represent good value for the money.

Farmed off the name to a substandard subcontractor. Flimsy, dull and rust spots after 2 months.

The sizes are great, I already had the serrated knife and use it so much I wanted another . My paring tip broke off so I wanted a pairing knife to replace it. Both sizes are great. I liked the Henckle brand my set seemed to hold the sharpness a little longer than other brands I have used. I hope this is still true, price is right for my use. I like how the handle/ grip feels, blades are sharp . They look great, size is great for my need. They don’t rust.

My go to favorite is Wustof brand but I know Henkles is it's rival. This set was cheaper than the Wusthof I'm used to using but I lost my Wustof at the kitchen I cook in for work (yes, I bring my own knives in from home). I bought these as replacement so I wouldn't feel so bad if I lost them again. I guess it's hard to go backward once you have the best, but these cut stuff and I guess that's what they're for, so they get the job done.
