Great quality
Definitely not easy to install but great product. I listened to videos and had to redo many times but I usually do all the handy work in our home so I had to try. Hire someone.

Kitchen remodel
We built our own kitchen cabinets and purchased this for our garbage cans. Works great and helps hide our garbage can in the kitchen.

Challenging Installation; Happy Ending
I haven't even used this for 24 hours yet, but I'm pretty sure this is exactly what I want. What I didn't count on (even though the reviews warned) was the nightmarish installation! As many have said, the instructions are just about useless! I watched the video a few times, referred to Rachel Lucas' instructions (see reviews), and then added my own techniques and ingenuity. My space is in a corner cabinet and the access was really tight which made it all the more difficult. What I did learn is that level and plumb are vital to this working correctly. My first attempt resulted in the self-close function not working so I had to take out the screws and make adjustments. It was then that I took advantage of the long oval shaped vertical holes and the built-in horizontal play on the back bracket. The usefulness of these features is not mentioned anywhere, but getting "close to correct" placement of fairly tight screws into the vertical ovals allowed me to make increments of adjustments until I had the slides level in every single direction and to each other. Once I had that, I drilled for screw placement in a couple of the small circular holes and got everything secured in place. The REALLY IMPORTANT thing I learned from Rachel Lucas was to disregard the ridiculously verbose directions for the door mount and to just use the provided two-sided tape and my eyes to get the door mounted. After the horror of mounting the slides, I was dreading mounting the door, but in the end, it took me about 10 minutes and was perfect on the first try. As an additional tip to what Rachel provides, I did tape a small level to the top of the door to help me with eye-balling the alignment of the door before I pushed it against the tape. So, I think the device gets 5 stars, but Rev-A-Shelf gets a big fat ZERO for its inability to provide simple, understandable, and effective step-by-step instructions.

Glides beautifully, excellent quality! Lids purchased separately.
After researching several different trash can pull-out options, I purchased this one. And I'm so glad I did. We bought the 15" wide, 35 QT. My husband and I installed ourselves and were able to complete it in about 1.5 hours - the instructions were pretty straightforward. Make sure you have all the right tools needed before installing! It will save you a lot of time in the long run. We've had it installed for about 4 months now and it's held up wonderfully. Super sturdy and amazing quality for the price. Just wish it came with the lids. The lids are sold separately and honestly pretty pricey for what it is. It was $40 for two.

Best on the market! Durable and smooth operation.
I’ve been using this for years in my kitchen. Was easy to install! And works like the day I bought it despite being opened dozens of times a day! It’s super smooth and the soft close is perfect. Couldn’t recommend it enough. I now use these on my clients jobs anytime I need one.

Well made product, worth the price
Well packaged, well built. Simple, straightforward assembly instructions. Requires a drill. A measuring tape, and a screwdriver to install. I was initially taken aback by the product cost, given the simplicity of the idea. But when I received it and had it installed in about an hour, I think it was worth the price- the quality is there. The shelf is marked Made in Vietnam, FWIW. The one note I would give is to call out that the door face mounting brackets are reversible- so you can either place them at the default orientation with screw holes at about 14.5 inches apart on the door face, or on the opposite sides with the cracked inward at exactly 13.25 inches apart.

So much cheaper than buying it from the kitchen cabinet store
I've been using this for 5 years now, and it works today as it did on the first day. My kitchen cabinet place wanted to charge me over $1000 for a built in (including the cabinet), which I thought was outrageous. I saw this, bought just the cabinet from them, and installed this pull out myself. Magic. I had exactly what I wanted for far less than half the price. There's no lid on the top of the garbage and I spent ages trying to dream up an auto-opening lid to put on top. In the end I didn't even need it. Strangely enough, smells have never been an issue. The cabinet contains everything because the pulley system pulls the door closed tight. The smells don't escape at all. The size is fantastic. Each bucket is quite big. We use the Costco garbage bags, which fit perfectly and are very cost-effective. I bought a box of 400 5 years ago and are still on the same box. I guess we don't produce a lot of garbage (which makes my point about containing the smells even more important!). lol. As someone who has been using this for a little over 5 years, I can say without hesitation this product is awesome.

Well made, adequately designed, REALLY poorly documented
I am a general contractor and experienced carpenter. I have built trash can sliders from scratch before, but decided to take the easy way this time. I read the instructions twice and decided they were garbage. Everybody has their own way of doing things, but these instructions were the worst I’ve ever seen from a company that mostly speaks English. It needs to tell you where to drill holes to mount brackets and which screws to use. Instead it gives different directions for each part of the slide. I didn’t even look at the door mounting instructions because my cabinet was new. If your cabinet is new, just leave the original door on its hinges, install the rails, then close the door and mark where the rail bracket holes touch the door. Remove the door, remove the slider and attach the two together using the marks you just made for the screws. It will be perfectly aligned. All that said, the slider is very nice and the cradle for the cans is very well made. There is a little too much resistance opening the slide, but that might diminish over time. I would give this a solid five stars if it weren’t for the ridiculously convoluted instructions.

Decent
Decent enough quality. Measurements of your cupboard have to be exact and I would highly recommend having basic woodworking skills to install. Drawer slides, although soft close, are cheap.
