from a naturally curly/wavy + super frizzy haired girl
I was not paid for this review, and also I'm not uploading photos of myself/hair here. Noticed a pretty considerable difference with this shower filter system - my hair looks shinier, less frizzier, and softer. There are SO many less tangles and breakages. Oh my for like forever my hair had the worst unruly tangles that I'd spend so long in the shower getting out, or couldn't, and had to cut parts off. Now that I've been using this for the past 2 months, I have noticed very few tangles, and they're easy to untangle within 2ish minutes, just once a week. This may just be great for those of you with hair prone to tangling/clamping and breaking off as well, noticed that there's barely any chunks of hair coming off, usually once a week, and it's way smaller than it used to be. Before I got this, I used to wash my hair 3 times a week, and now I am able to wash it every day as this filtration is easy on the hair and really protects against breakage and tangling. I go to the gym daily and sit in the sauna/steam room for 30+ minutes, so having this became a gamechanger to my haircare because it just feels fresher to be able to wash it off after heat/steam sessions. Seems like the curls are less defined but they're also another look, kind of like a surfer vibe. Although there's still some frizz, there's far less than before, and it's also likely that my daily hair-washing is influences the frizz level considering texture and natural oils. Shiny, soft hair, and so much easier to take care of now.

No leaking
I made sure not to tighten the swivel piece too tight. I was mindful of where the plumbers tape landed so it wasn't blocking the exit if the water. I tightened the shower head just enough that it isn't overly tightened. No leaks for me. I didn't need any extra pieces. Yes the shower head is a different color than the filter but I'm not so vain that, that's a problem. I'm a quality over aesthetics kind of girl. To each her own.
