How many items comes with the package?

This unit came with 3 receivers, 1 transmitter and a connecting cable.

Can you replace battery trigger?

IF you are referring to the trigger that sits on top of the camera in the "hot-shoe" spot, the answer is YES. You need a small Phillips screwdriver. Find the recessed screw on the bottom of the unit. Loosen up the screw (it is a captive screw), using your fingernail, pry apart the unit along the seam. If it does not open completely then you need to further loosen the screw. After you have it apart you should see the battery. It is a "Eveready A23" battery (or equivalent). Purchase a new battery (i.e. Walmart, etc.) and installed it the same way as the previous battery was (negative on the spring, positive on the fixed part). BTW: I NEVER leave my battery inside when not in use to avoid damage from corrosion. Carefully put the two halves back together and carefully tighten the screw. Be careful to not over-tighten!
