The bags are very sturdy and I am glad I got the various sizes. They come with the zipper tabs so you can close them tightly but you really don't need them. They stand up on their own which makes it a little easier to pour into. I am using them to store dried foods like flour, pasta, rice etcetera and using the oxygen absorbers that came with them. I am sure you can use them for other things but that is what I am using them for. Another convenient thing are the labels you can place on the bags instead of writing on the bag. Just know that of you are using them for long term storage once you heat seal them and want to open them you won't be able to seal them back unless you remove the zipper portion. They are good for short-term storage just using the zipper closure. In that case they are reusable. I would buy them again.

I have bought these ones before. They work great. Zip lock top and the bottom folds out so they stand. Nice thickness. Very nice Mylar bags and really good size choices.

Bags are great and easy to use.

This was a great set of bags to help us figure out which sizes are the most useful. + They have a gusset bottom, which means they stand up on their own. Not all mylar bags have these. + The bags seal well. + Oxygen absorbers are included. + The size variety is awesome. - These bags are not as thick as the Wallaby brand bags. We notice some things make dents in this bag. - Because they are not as thick, I always use the stickers and don't use a permanent marker directly on the bags. I am not sad we purchased this because it gives us a good idea of what bags we need for each freeze dried item!

Purchased these for storing oats, rice, and pasta for emergency storm preparation. They worked wonders! Food is still fresh and sealed, ready to go for when we need it. Good selection of sizes, little on the thin side. Probably wouldn't suggest "long" term storage use but for prepping for camping or four or five years. Should do the job. 👍

The Mylar bags are great but the only negative is that all 120 oxygen absorbers are packed in one bulk pack meaning you have to use them all immediately or they become useless.

Exactly as advertised. One suggestion is to indicate how many silicone bags should go into each size of mylar bag. I did 2 for the largest and 1 for the quart. A tip, use a hot air gun or similar after sealing the top, and the last inch of mylar above the snap shut will seal with each other, ensuring so false openings, and keeping out insects as well. I put my mylar bags in plastic bins after taping up the air release holes (a great way to let insects into the bin). Then I added a little diatomaceous earth to the bottom of the bins, and to the lip before closing the cover with 6 zip ties per bin. A little extra insect safety, and diatomaceous earth is safe enough to eat!

I always have loved mylar products, they are so easy to use for storing food. This product gives you all sizes in one buy. I feel you would not be disappointed.
