Are you happy with the way it makes ice cream? Any issues?

It works great. Secret is to make sure your ice cream mixture is refrigerated overnight before making ice cream. I keep the ice cream attachment in freezer 24/7 so always super cold when I need to use it. Takes about 20 minutes to make ice cream. It is soft serve when you initially make it and once you freeze leftovers it is typical hard ice cream consistency. Also very important to store in double walled ice cream container to keep it fresh and without ice crystals forming. I bought the starpack long scoop reusable ice cream container with lid on Amazon to store the ice cream.

What material is the bowl and utensils made of? Bpa free?

I know the outside is a hard plastic and the inside is metal.

Will this fit the ksm3311xbm model?

Not sure. You'll have to look on your kitchen aid or the ice cream attachment.

I have an older model. Works well!! Will the ice cream maker fit the 475 Kitchenaid?

I don't see why not if it's is a KitchenAid. I think mine is 4 years old
