I have a dupe of this cup in a 32oz version and I’m in love with it except for one thing, it doesn’t fit in the cup holders of my vehicles very well. For Father’s Day, my husband needed an insulated cup for when he works outside, his current one doesn’t fit in a cup holder. This was a perfect option for him since he likes the one I have. First things first: this thing keeps liquids COLD for a VERY long time. Haven’t put anything hot into it and don’t plan to so I cannot attest to that. It’s lightweight, durable, and the versatility with the straw is really what makes this cup stand out. You can use a straw OR take a sip without changing adaptors or adding a straw. The straw is basically built into the spout. It’s leakproof which I greatly appreciate. With this being on sale I jumped on it. These are such nice cups, and I can confirm they fit the cup holders of my vehicles from my 22 RAV4 to my 05 Corolla. This is a definite buy and I really hope my husband gets me one since my dupe doesn’t fit in my cup holders. As for the 24oz of this cup, it fits. The colors are fun. It’s unique, and extremely functional.

I can’t believe I’m so excited about a water bottle. The design is amazing - I love that there’s no straw poking up but there’s still a straw sip function. I like that the carrying hook doubles as a lid locking mechanism. This bottle feels very sturdy but it’s sleek and easy to grab - I have small hands and it isn’t a problem for me to drink from with one hand. It’s also really nice that this bottle fits in standard cup holders both at the gym in the machines and in my car. The color selection is so fun and I am pleased that my bottle looks exactly as pictured. My water has stayed cold and my ice cubes frozen for over 12 hours now. Cannot recommend enough!

We got this Owala bottle for our son to use as his everyday school water bottle, and it has been excellent. The 24oz size holds plenty of water for the school day without being overly bulky or heavy to carry around.The insulation works extremely well. Drinks stay cold all day long, even when the bottle sits in a backpack for hours. That’s probably the feature we’ve been most impressed with so far. It’s also been great for car trips since it keeps water cold for extended periods without needing constant refills.The design is really well thought out too. The built-in straw makes it easy to drink from quickly during class or while traveling, and the lid feels secure and leak-resistant when closed. It also has a clean, modern look that feels a little more premium than many standard water bottles.Build quality feels solid overall, and it seems designed to hold up well to everyday use from school, sports, and travel.Overall, this has been a fantastic everyday water bottle and definitely lives up to the hype. Keeps drinks cold, holds a good amount of water, and works equally well for school or road trips.

I finally understand why everyone loves Owala bottles because this has easily become my favorite water bottle.The FreeSip feature is honestly one of the best parts because I like having the option to either sip through the straw or drink normally without needing two separate lids. It’s super convenient whether I’m at home, in the car, or working throughout the day.It also keeps my water cold for HOURS, even when I leave it in the car longer than I should. The bottle feels durable, high quality, and easy to carry around daily.I personally love the clean white color because it looks simple and aesthetic, and the locking lid makes me feel comfortable tossing it into my bag without worrying about leaks.Cleaning it has also been easier than I expected compared to some other insulated bottles I’ve owned.Overall, this is one of those purchases I use every single day and genuinely feel was worth the money.

Needed a water bottle to bring with me to work and just use as a reminder to stay hydrated. Found this one while scrolling and thankfully I did! This brand has a lot of cute colors and is super convenient! I personally enjoy using the built in straw but there is a spout if you prefer that method of drinking. It's also leak proof which is reassuring since in the car it doesn't fit in cup holders so it's pretty much rolling around my feet lol. Water stays cold all day and it's super easy to clean out and dries quick. Recommend for those looking for a good quality water bottle!

I’ll be completely honest—I love Owala, and after trying several brands over the years, this is the one my family keeps reaching for. The Kids FreeSip bottle is the perfect size, keeps drinks cold for hours, and is durable enough to survive being dropped, tossed in backpacks, and carried everywhere kids go.The FreeSip design is what really sets it apart. Kids can sip through the straw or take a regular drink, and it helps encourage them to drink more water throughout the day. The lid closes securely, which means fewer leaks and spills.We’ve owned multiple Owala bottles, and the quality has always been outstanding. They hold up well, clean easily, and still look great after months of daily use. If you’re on the fence, this is one of those products that actually lives up to the hype.Hands down one of my favorite brands and one of the best kids’ water bottles we’ve ever purchased!

I purchased this Owala water bottle a little over a year ago and it was in my top favorites. The flip-up lid is a great feature, and I like that you can use it with or without the straw. It’s completely leak-proof, comfortable to carry, and has held up well with daily use. My only complaint had been that it doesn’t fit in most standard cup holders.But after about a year, I did notice that it stopped keeping my water cold as long as it used to, and the ice began melting much faster. I reached out to Owala customer service but unfortunately never received a response.Even with that issue, I still prefer the lid design over brands like Yeti or RTIC, so I would consider purchasing another Owala in the future. If you value a convenient, leak-proof lid design, it’s definitely worth considering. I just sincerely hope the insulation lasts longer on the next one.

The whole thing about being able to choose whether you use the straw or tilt it to chug is awesome and all, but mainly I was scouring the internet for a bottle that had some kind of straw mechanism that wasn't (1) on a spring-loaded flippy thing that would eventually wear out and stop working, (2) wasn't open to the air where it could collect other peoples' geeeeerms when I took it around everywhere with me, and (3) didn't have some kind of screw-top or other cap that I wouldn't be able to open one-handed. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD THAT IS TO FIND? I do.Literally, Owala was the only brand/bottle I found that checked all three of those boxes. THE ONLY ONE. So even though it was a little more than I would normally pay for a water bottle and I hated that I couldn't customize my colors, I decided to give it a try. And lo, I found the light and the heavens blessed me with a (near) perfect water bottle.I've used my bottle pretty much all day every day since purchasing it several months ago and it works as well now as it did when I first bought it. I do worry about the spring-loaded lid release eventually wearing out, but it hasn't yet with constant use (and more than occasional extra use for funsies). The only sign of wear over time is that there are a few small (aesthetic/surface) scratches on the outside from a couple times when I dropped my bottle on concrete and asphalt. I wish they weren't there but it doesn't affect anything except my delicate eyeballs.My only qualm with the bottle's near perfection, which seems entirely unavoidable from a design perspective, is that ice cubes inside of the bottle make a lot of noise when sloshing around and bumping up against the metal interior. When you work a job that sometimes requires near-complete silence, that noise can be an issue. For most, it probably wouldn't matter in the slightest (when I'm at home, I don't even think about it). I don't blame Owala for this. But if they solved it, then it would be the holy grail of sheer perfection designed to hold ambrosia for the gods. Until then, I feel honored to partake.The handle is convenient for carrying. The shape of the bottle (flat on the sides) is a clever touch that makes it easier to grip for twisting off the top and such. It fits in average cup holders. It's leakproof when the lid is secured well and the cap is clicked into place.The button to open the cap is strong (works well) and is easy to press. If the handle is down (it gently clicks into place if you fold it down), it covers the button and prevents any accidental presses. That said, while it could theoretically be pressed accidentally if you leave the handle up/open all the time (like I do), it has never happened to me.The inside is metal, which keeps the insides cold for ages (with ice). The straw is plastic, which stops the water from tasting like gross metal water bottle. The outside is... not-metal, which means the sun can be directly on the bottle and warm the outside while the inside is still ice cold and, more importantly, that there's no condensation on the outside getting everything around it wet (bane of my college existence :| ). Vinyl stickers adhere well to whatever the outside material is.It disassembles into straw, lid, and bottle for cleaning, and the the shape of the lid makes it a lot easier (and way more sanitary) to clean than any other straw-based bottle I've had/used. I run the lid and straw through the dishwasher occasionally. I think the bottle recommends hand washing but I forget; in addition to hand washing, I occasionally do a polydent cleaning to eliminate any odors and ensure all bacteria are dead af. It works like a charm.This is a 100% honest review and I generally try not to fangirl or gush excessively: this bottle is /that/ good. I legit recommend it for anyone looking for a water bottle (unless they prefer the big mouth/screw-top kind) and am very seriously considering buying one for everyone in my family.

Second Owala purchase from Amazon, the first having been a 40oz for work and now a 24oz for potability. Still great, easy to clean and most importantly for seamless drinking without fussing over spillage.
