Great Medium-Sized Pack
I was looking for a bag that could fit my 15.6" laptop and a few other everyday items comfortably. Since I take public transit to work every day I didn't want a bag that was too big or bulky and could just fit essential items -- laptop, charger/cables, lunch, my kindle, and a notebook. This bag fits my needs perfectly. It appears to be well made and light-weight. I have only been consistently using it for a few weeks now, but I do not foresee any issues in terms of rips or zipper breaks. My back has never felt stressed by using this backpack and it rests comfortably when worn. The bag also has a nice look to it that is both casual but also allows it to pass in a professional way in which most backpacks could not. The main compartment has ample space for a laptop and a notebook while the front smaller pocket has been perfect for putting my lunch in. I don't really use the small accessory pocket on the top, but it has been a nice place to store my phone charger and phone on the off chance I don't have it in my pocket. The side pockets also provide additional space and are decent for fitting a standard size water or soda bottle. My two complaints: The side pockets work well for most items, but I wish that one of them were a little bigger or perhaps the mesh material that some backpacks have on the side. I haven't even tried bringing in my large Nalgene Water Bottle because I know there is no way it will fit in the side pocket. The top handle also seems to hold the weight awkwardly. I think the handle is more attached to the straps than to the actual bag so that when you grasp it, the weight falls down and forward rather than being squarely and securely in the middle. This may help the backpacks low profile and keep it feeling slimmer so it is not a huge complaint, but just something of note. For the price of ~$30 this backpack is a steal for anyone who wants to carry everyday essentials without excessive bulk. Pros: Well constructed Low profile, medium-sized, not too bulky Light-weight, comfortable Price Lots of pockets for organization Stylish Cons: Side pockets bad for larger water bottles Top handle seems to hold weight awkwardly Could be too small for some Overall, this backpack suits my everyday needs perfectly and is well worth the $32.44 I spent on it. Students or people who need extra amounts of space for textbooks or other materials should look elsewhere, but if you are looking for a medium-sized bag to fit everyday essentials, look no further. The cons to the pack are trivial enough to me that I do not hesitate from giving it 5 stars.

Sized right and priced right ...
Older laptop backpack I had fit 15 inch laptop OK but when I upgraded to 16 in. laptop, it did not fit. This backpack accommodates 16 in. size no problem. Yeah, the bag is bit squarish but practical implication of the design is that the form follows the function, where the primary function is to securely transport a laptop/notebook as the name implies and secondarily carry other items such as books. As such, it does a superb job. To complain that it cannot carry large amounts of books is missing the point. You can find more expensive and better built bags from the likes of SwissGear but I find their bags to be way too heavy for my liking and purpose. This bag is well padded, well constructed, not too big, and relatively light, purpose built for routine urban/suburban lifestyle, not for hiking Himalayas. The shoulder straps are wide and comfortable and design is understated and unobtrusive, which is what I want when I'm carrying loads of electronic gears, i.e. laptop, tablet, iPod, cameras, chargers, batteries, and cellphone. Felt lined top pocket is great for carrying delicate and easily scratched items. I like the fact that all the exterior pockets are secured with zippers and the built-in fastener holds the excess strap in a tidy fashion and prevents them from flopping around. Well designed and well built laptop backpack for around $30 is an excellent value.

Very spacious backpack - lots of pockets
I am replacing my old belkin backpack which lasted me several years. I had several options to choose from which included this one, Samsonite, and incase. I have a few accessories (mouse, power cord, extra battery, usb flash drives) plus I like to carry my gym close around so I wanted something large enough for me to carry these things. So it was important to have room and not to mention look stylish doing it. The Samsonite one I looked at was a very close winner. In fact, I was in line at the store about to checkout with it when something told me I could find something I would like more somewhere else. So I put the backpack back and left. The Incase backpacks look really nice but I don't like spending that much money on a backpack I bring to work. This one seemed just right. After I received it, I put all my usual belongings in there and it didn't stretch out my backpack which is a plus. Seemed like it had extra room too even after my clothes. It had the feel of a regular backpack and the cushioning was very standard around the 15.6" laptop I have. I wish they had some top cushioning in case I somehow flipped my backpack or maybe even a strap to lock it in place so it doesn't slide out. The straps were very neat. Seemed like the usual straps which they are but they made it so that you don't have loose straps hanging around and it seems to ensure that they won't come undone or loose by accident. This also has a little extra cushion at the bottom of the pack so that it won't hurt your tail bone region. I liked how you have 4 different compartments to put all your things so you don't get them all mixed together. My old pack didn't have that. It's a good back pack over all. I'm glad it was in my price range too.

What I was expecting.
I went for this product with the idea that it was a durable, light weight laptop backpack big enough to fit a 16" laptop yet still slim enough not to be huge and overbearing. I was completely correct. I purchased this to accompany my new Asus n53sv-A2 which, for a 15.6" laptop, seemed a little bigger than I had expected. It's almost a tight fit as the "laptop pouch" within the back pocket doesn't extend all the way to the bottom of the backpack, and because of this it zips up a little tight around the corners of the laptop. The backpack itself only has 5 pockets. The front most pocket is deep and somewhat slim yet spacious. It has a zippered pocket for pencils etc, as well as three specific pen/pencil holders and two little square pockets that I could snugly fit my passport in. It's spacious enough that I can fit a large handful of cables at the bottom and still put in 2 xbox controllers, yet slim enough that you wouldn't realize all of that is in there. The next pocket, working towards the straps, is a small velvet-like pocket designed for portable media. It holds my Cowon J3, and, when vertical, barely zips up. I could probably fit 3 of them side by side and that would take up about the entire pocket. Next is the main pocket. With my laptop in it, I can also very snugly fit in an Xbox 360 slim, as well as the power adapter needed. It won't fit anymore than that. But even with this pack filled up it still doesn't look very huge or bulky. The last two pockets are the small side pockets. I was able to fit my Samsung NV24HD digital camera, in a tight fitting case, with it's charging cable into one of these pockets, and that is all it will hold. Knowing what I wanted and expecting what I did, the only thing that leaves much to be desired is the padding. Although It's fine for me (6' tall, weigh 270lbs, solidly built), some people may find it feels like it doesn't have padding at all. All in all it's what I expected and because of that, and how it has handled my needs, I give it 4 stars. Pros: Slim Sturdy it is what it looks like cons: Lack of padding may not be spacious enough for some

Lasted me over a decade
I've had this backpack and used it consistently for 12 years; it's served me well through five years of college, multiple snowy winters, numerous trips across the country, and as a daily work bag. It offers good protection in the laptop compartment, decent secondary storage in the front compartment, and two zippered side compartments which can hold small items or stay open on the top for water bottles. I like how the straps can be rolled up and tucked away; a nice feature my case logic camera bag also has. Overall this bag has served me great, but over time it has slowly worn out -- slower than I expected, but it did still happen. Here's what broke first 1. Side zippered pockets; shoving too large / heavy of water bottles snagged the zippers over time (~4yrs in for the first one, ~6 for the se ond) 2. Main compartment zipper pull; this came of after repeated use (replaced with a new pull) (~9yrs) 3. Main compartment zipper attachment; this eventually broke and the fabric started coming apart. Death knell of the bag at 12 years in Overall it's a great bag; affordable for what it offers.

Stylish and comfortable laptop backpack.
I purchased this bag in the black color. It's very stylish with it's dark black and red accents. Bag just barely fit my ASUS 16" laptop, but it holds it very securely. Bag distributes the weight very well, even when pretty heavily loaded up, it still feels light and comfortable. Plenty of compartments for accessories (some of which I haven't found a use for personally). I really like how the straps don't dangle and are held up in a bundle with Velcro. Some areas of the bag are made from a thicker, more durable type of material than others. Meanwhile, other areas the material feels a bit flimsy - however, haven't had any issues with it. The shoulder straps and back portion is very nicely padded. Straps are contoured nicely. Does not feel like carrying a traditional 'backpack', it's quite a bit more comfortable. One thing I wish it had was some dividers in the main large pocket to sort some papers and whatnot; though, that's probably not a big deal for most. I use this for work daily and it has proven very reliable and still looks great. Oh, the zippers are all very high quality, they really feel great, very smooth. For the price that Case Logic is asking for this bag, it's a fantastic deal and it will fit a large amount of laptops, 16" maximum (though I don't know if it will fit all 16", it barely fit my ASUS G60JX, but it's on the larger side). I've experienced zero issues with the build quality thus far and must highly recommend it for being: Dollar Friendly, Stylish, Convenient, and Comfortable.

Durable, Solid Backpack
I bought this in College to use for taking my laptop to class and carrying books, materials, and papers. It fit my 15-inch laptop very well, although there should be more padding in the bottom of the slot for when you set the backpack down, although I didn't actually have any problems created by that. It would just make your laptop feel a bit safer. The straps are fairly comfortable, but with the angle they're set at mixed with the width, it can slip off of your shoulders somewhat easily, which is probably more of a problem for most people, as I'm a pretty big guy and have broad shoulders. After I broke my laptop and got a bigger one, I use this backpack as a cable bag for my guitar rig when I play shows with my band. It gets thrown around, stuffed to the point of being almost impossible to zip shut, and nothing has broken on it yet or worn out. This backpack is durable, has plenty of space, a plethora of pockets to separate things, and serves plenty of applications. It's absolutely worth the price, and has served me well.

This product appeals to students like me, especially if you carry your laptop around ...
I bought this book bag to use throughout my college career. Overall it serves its purpose and has lasted for four years. It is durable and can fit all the things I need it to. It is something I use all day, everyday, and I am surprised it has not been ruined yet. However, on the back there is a mesh material that rubs on all my clothing and ruins it. It is frustrating but I have not bothered to buy a new book bag because its advantages outweigh its disadvantages. This product appeals to students like me, especially if you carry your laptop around a lot. There is a separate section for my laptop that provides extra protection for it. Also there is two side pockets that allow me to easily put away belongings when I am in a hurry on campus. The small pocket on the top is also convenient to store my school ID and money. Inside the pocket on the front there are separate sections that I store pens and other things I need for class. Everything is easily organized and easy for me to access. I like the design of the bag because it is convenient. For a busy student like myself, it is nice to not have to worry where all my belongings are. If I had to, I would purchase this book bag again. It has been durable and worth the money I spent. I would recommend this book bag to other students or those who work with their lap top frequently. It is comfortable to wear and can be adjusted easily. This bag met all my expectations and I will continue to use it for a long time.

Imbottita abbondantemente in ogni lato. Consigliato!
