Im not sure. I have it mounted on my AR15 and have not had any problems

Can you get this model with a picatinny mount ?

They have another identical one that can be mounted on rails.

I just bought 1 and it wont stay on inless its pluged in. What am i doing wrong

I don't know what you're doing wrong, but I own 2 of these and no problems with mine. Did you charge it up fully first? If not, try that. If it continues, send it back k for a replacement.
