These were on sale for $160 used in a mint condition listing. Outside of the top sticker peel the box I received was untouched and the accessories still had their original wrappers on so the listing was very accurate. I feel great about the purchase, the audio quality is excellent, the noise cancellation has been pretty good so far in my first week or so, and they keep steelseries staple which is great comfort even for longer sessions. I feel like these are a bargain at $160. The dock is easy to setup and use, they supply two type c cables to get you going. I hope this headset lasts 5+ years like my 7p+ did. The build quality seems like it will.

These are great! Sound is really nice, I'm a lot more aware of footsteps around me and what direction gunfire is. The eq is awesome..you can really dial them into the sound you want. I like that the wire connects to the dlc, not the controller, so it doesn't get in the way. My only complaint is that I expected them to be much louder. Even with every setting maxed out, they could still be a little louder. Still highly recommend

These are by far the best headset i have ever owned! They are very comfy even when wearing glasses with them on. The sound quality is absolutely wonderful, i can hear everything when gaming, they are a game changer for sure! Even listening to music sounds better, i love the new game dac these come with it is well designed and looks really nice and is also easy to use and offers many tweaks that can be done for your sound levels. I also like that there are color options to choose from if you want to change up the look of your headset via headband or ear cup covers/plates on the outer ear. The only negative things about this headset is sadly they did not seem to change up the cheap plastic that is used on the part that attaches the ear parts to the headband, this is the same spot that my old arctis pro headset broke at and i ended up having to super glue it back together. The ear padding that comes with these are that fake type of leather, yes they are comfy but how long till it starts to flake, so in time these may need to be replaced with new ones. That is honestly the only negative things that i can say about this headset. Overall i 100% recommend these to anyone who has the cash to spare. Side Note: be careful with the headset since it does still have that weak point i mentioned above, if you care for them well then i do not see this being an issue for you. (at least not for a while)UPDATE: so i have had this headset for about 6-7 months now and they are still working great and look just as good as they did when i first got them. ( But i take great care of my stuff ) I am a huge PC gamer so i use them just about daily for hours on end. The weak spot on these headphones that i talked about in my review above is still holding up strong but again i take great care of my stuff, i hang these up on a headset stand i have when ever i am done using them. The fake leather on the ear pads has not flaked at all since i have had them so i am actually really surprised about that and pleased. Again i 100% recommend these headphones.

Short version: It’s a really good headset on its own but once you combine it with the GameDAC the customization it allows is something everyone should spend a little time to learn to personalize it best.Long version: Everything about this headset goes above and beyond. As long as you know the basics in your audio settings it’s as simple as plug and play. Though combine that with their steel series software (which btw compared to the software of other brands like razor for example, steel series software barely touches any resources and will not be a hindrance to have running in the background.) The pads around the ears are soft and very comfortable allowing for wearing as long as you’d like. At no point is there ever really discomfort. The GameDAC with the software makes it easy to control your volume using the smooth to the touch dial and a very simple interface that is easy to understand with a useful little tutorial on how to use it. This overall should be good enough for the general consumer to get their hands on this thing but for audiophiles, they get to have their cake and eat it too! The software allows you to play with an equalizer in the software that also has the audio split between several categories (Game, Chat, Media, Aux, and Mic). So you can set your Game channel to allow you to gain the advantage in your game or allow you to have a more immersive experience. Along side that you can have the Media channel to make whatever you watch or listen to sound as crisp as possible allowing you to enjoy every little detail to your favorite songs and movies.Overall phenomenal product and I recommended it for anyone looking for a quality headset without shelling out $500+ one some “super duper high quality headset” when for this price gets ya right up there for a fraction of the cost.

though the headset does have good sound quality, both the software used to run the headset and the quality of materials used to make the headset are both lacking. I have been a long time logitech supporter, using varieties of their products over the stretch of about 8 years and have always been a big fan of the steelseries line. Recently I upgraded to the logitech g pro wireless mouse and artic nova pro headset after using the artic 5 wired since they came out. I was a little worried about the price of these headsets not reflecting their worth but due to my previous experiences I let those worries drift away. This was sadly a mistake though, as after just gentle and mild use over the past couple of moths the headset has broken along one of the rotating braces and is now effectively useless. I am horribly disappointed by this and would recommend spending your money somewhere where your going to get a better bang for your buck. Such as a hyperX headset like the cloud alphas in which are half the price, incredibly comfortable and sound damn near as nice without the terrible software.

I have been through a couple of different headsets, and this one foots the bill easily. No disconnects/drop-outs/ etc.. The audio and bass are top notch. Crystal clear audio and works well with the 5.1 surround. I can hear directionally where other players are or sounds are coming from. The DAC is a nice added feature as you can on-the-fly adjust game sound vs chat with friends. This works well as you assign each app a different audio output via virtual outputs. So for Discord I choose and audio output called CHAT, and for my game I choose an output called GAME. Then on the dac while playing you adjust the wheel to bring one audio up and the other down. It's as easy as turning the dial from left to right. Click the wheel and then you adjust the overall volume. it' super cool and I would buy it again. When I travel I just take the headest and not the DAC. My laptop supports the 5.1 natively so I don't need the DAC. This headset has nothing to recharge and is hard wired via 1 USB cable. Easy to use and the software gives you lots of additional options such as equalizer. I would highly recommend this headset.

These headphones sound so incredible and has way more options than I thought I needed. Firstly these fit very comfortable and it is a snug fit to the sides of the head but the strap feels like it is floating above your head. I thought the strap would be weird or uncomfortable but it is not and I am happy with it. I just came from the Corsair Virtuoso Wireless and these are much more comfortable. The head strap on the Corasir was painful after extended use of a few hours so I had to buy a cushion that clips on the band. Back to the Arctis Nova Pro I love the dac and steelseries.gg app. The dac is very high quality and pushes these drivers way farther than I have heard a headset go. If your motherboard is not powerful enough to push high end headphones then this will fix that and push plenty of power to these. The sound quality is crazy and I have been listening to music that I listened to for decades and hear new sounds that I had no idea were there. It separates the l very well even for a closed back headset. I play plenty of Pubg so the footsteps are a must and every other headphones I used were never enough so I had to turn it way too high and add a separate app to push it even further. The clarity of foot steps even in smoke grenades is awesome. You need all sound awareness and direction and I can pin point directional audio with more clarity with these. I have only had them for a few days so I will update after a year or so with further details.

I really wanted to like this headset since the sound quality was very good and the provided DAC and software had a lot of adjustable options and EQ. This is why I still gave it 3 stars, even though I ended up returning it.That said, the biggest problem was comfort. The ear cup pad/cushions were considerably smaller than other headsets I've used and was causing discomfort and giving me headaches. The cushions were not as deep nor is the contact area as wide as I would expect, which I think is where most of the problems came from. The headband was OK, but I felt more pressure than other headsets. The headset was relatively light weight and the compression didn't seem high. But, even after a few hours of using it, it was giving me headaches and hurting my ears and around my ears. The headset also has a very loud cracking noise when you move the headset to adjust it on your head, I haven't figured out exactly why it does that (it seemed to be caused by air pressure...).The mic doesn't fit/work well when extended and if you move your head just right or even chew, you hear the mic making contact with the headset until you find a good angle to where it doesn't do it as much. Not an end all be all type of thing, but it was annoying. The sound quality of the mic was OK, but had a lot of static.The quality of the materials seemed OK for the headset itself, although I wish they used more metal in some spots (like the yoke from the headband to the cups) and had any sort of locking features for the height adjustable earpieces (perhaps this also affected the overall comfort). The plastic seemed decent quality, but seemed very brittle so I felt I had to be very careful while setting it on my desk. The cables, however, were very poor quality overall, including the mic cable as mentioned earlier.Sure, some of these issues can be remediated by buying aftermarket ear cup cushions (maybe, if you can find bigger/better cushions that fit these as the component fit is custom designed) and better cables, but for ~$300, I expect it to just work as purchased.

This is a very nice headset and very comfortable. Good price too !!
