worth watching
Donald Sutherland is great as usual. Surprise ending.

It is a good movie to watch once. The acting is just ok, Southerland being the best. Not alot of action. Not too much suspense, but watchable.

A real "sleeper" of a film...
Donald Sutherland's sleaziest character ever. Worth the watch just for that.

Good Suspense Movie - DVD transfer is bad
The plot is good with several surprises along the way to keep you guessing, but the DVD picture suffers from very heavy, overbearing contrast - dark scenes lose all detail. Remind me never to buy another DVD from Timeless Media. The LaserDisc version was far superior. Sutherland is great as a sleazy bad guy. Matheson is perfect as the innocent blackmail victim. Now I have to dig out that old Laserdisc and copy it to DVD-R.

Good suspense movie
Really good movie. Well done with great cast. Worth watching, although it’s pretty old.
