Top Gun MAVERICK is the blockbuster of all blockbusters. The movie is produced perfectly from start to finish. Everything was perfectly delivered. The 3cinematography and visuals was really well researched and splendidly filmed with the perfect subject focus, correct angles and lighting effect. The production was absolute perfection with Tom Cruise calling the shots. The soundtrack is the best ever, beautiful and fits the scene and moods ideally. A truly masterful work of art by the soundtrack masters Hans Zimmer, and Harold Faltermeyer. And Lady Gaga added the wonderful finishing touches at the end of the movie. The casting was definitely on point with the perfect stars playing the ideal character. The editing was amazing. Tom Cruise's supporting cast delivers a spectacular spot on performance. And see a few big egos get put in check along the way. You will see character development and growth. The movie starts by playing the Top Gun Anthem, moving right into the Danger Zone while watching flight deck operations launching the powerful F-18 fighter jet. See the jets being catapulted 300 feet from zero to 165 mph in 2 seconds during launching. Hear their roar, and actually feel the rumble of the afterburners blazing fire as they're climbing skyward. With several cameras mounted in the cockpit of the jets, you feel like you are actually in the cockpit pulling G's, and making hairpin turns with the pilot . You may need a barf bag! 🤮 See the greatest flying scenes ever filmed. The movie is sheer excitement and suspense. You will be on the edge of your seat throughout the movie. The action is non-stop. You will see nail-biting, palm-sweating, and jaw-dropping action and adventure like never seen before. The excitement will leave you breathless, you will only be able to say," WOW "😲. The movie features flashbacks from Top Gun 1 that will bring back plenty of nostalgia and emotional memories. This movie is put together so well. Phenomenal work! The scene where Val Kilmer makes a special guest appearance is very heart-warming and emotional because everyone loves Val Kilmer. Welcome back Val!! Thanks for all the great memories!! Special homage is given to the beloved Goose because everyone loves and misses him so much. Talk to me Goose! He remains with all of us in spirit. Seems nobody trusts or believes in Maverick. But watch him prove them all wrong. He puts all doubters in check. The final mission scene will certainly blow your senses away with intense and emotional scenes like explosions, crashes, and teamwork. Maverick's incredible dog-fighting skills and flying skills are put to the test. He pushes the jet to it's absolute limits with incredible evasive and aggressive maneuvers. This is an amazing action and adventure scene. The dog-fighting, and air-combat scenes are superbly filmed. Your emotions will be on a wild rollercoaster ride. You will be laughing, next moment you are crying, then someone's cockiness, arrogance and big ego will really anger you. 😡🤬 This is one of the most emotional movies you will ever see 😢 🍿. The movie even features a surprise hero, and the famous Maverick tower buzz. The closing scene is so beautiful and romantic with the perfect and meaningful song from Lady Gaga. Now Maverick can fly off into the sunset and live happily ever after!! A truly great ending with emotional flare!! Have a tissue handy!! 🥲 This movie is a true Masterpiece. It was mentioned that this is possibly one of the best movies ever filmed. This is reflected at the world box office. The receipts are insanely high figures. Even the movie critics are giving this film 👍👍. Special thanks go to the production crew for their undying effort and passion to give us the perfect production. Great job guys! This movie was definitely made with the fans in mind. Thanks Tom!! You will want to watch this movie over and over again. The follow up to TOP GUN, very good.

Just popped the DVD of Top Gun: Maverick in and it still is great even in my living room instead of the theater. The flying scenes and jet action are still breathtaking, and the story keeps you hooked from start to finish. Watching it at home makes it perfect for re-watches or sharing with friends/family. The drama, the suspense, and even the humor come through nicely. If you loved this movie in theaters (or even if you’re new to it), getting it on DVD is totally worth it. Bottom line: awesome movie, great way to enjoy it again and im definitely glad I bought it.

I've always enjoyed Top Gun, even as I admit that it is not a great film. What it is is a spectacular collection of aerial sequences woven together by a mediocre, schmaltzy, romance. T.G. Maverick does not have that problem. The idea that Maverick would forego promotion in order to keep flying is completely believable to me, as the character clearly has the true calling to be a combat pilot, the Right Stuff, as it's known. I was very pleased to see the ailing Val Kilmer as the admiral who's watched over his comrade for his entire career. Jennifer Connelly was a pleasant surprise for me, and I'm pleased that the previous relationship between her character and Mav is implied, not laid out in a tedious detail. I preordered the DVD on the 4th of July, the day I saw the film in a theater. I have since watched the disc 5 or 6 times. I wish it had extra features, but they'll probably wait for a special anniversary re-issue before adding background info. I hope eventually to get to see outtakes and off-camera background clips, as I know the senses of humor of many of the actors must have created a stack of funny moments. I've seen Tom Cruise and Miles Teller on talk shows discussing the filming, and the work the cast put into it is impressive. I had previously not known that Cruise is a pilot (although I'm not surprised). The Mustang featured in the film is Tom's own aircraft. I was not familiar with the younger stars of this film, and could not have picked Miles Teller or Glen Powell out of a lineup. Now I could. The whole cast is excellent, and I was delighted to see female pilots, their presence reflecting the changes in military aviation since I rode in Navy helos in the early 70s. T.G. Maverick is everything such a film should be.

The movie is great but there’s an issue where when you’re choosing which format you want to buy the movie, the product description doesn’t change. So when I searched for this movie, I had to click on blu-ray, then switch the format to dvd and add to cart. The description talks about 80 minutes of extra footage which was a huge factor in me purchasing this dvd. Nowhere in the description does it say the special features are for the blu-ray only. The dvd is JUST the movie, nothing else. Was a huge bummer when we put it in our player and realized..

Great sequel, very entertaining movie, especially if you also have the original. Since they take place 30 years apart, I don’t recommend watching them back to back.

.. devo dire che solo di recente ho visto il primo film Top Gun, è stato piacevole ma non mi è piaciuto così tanto. Invece questo sequel è davvero eccellente, ricco di azione e di belle scene con Caccia Militari.. davvero bello, con poche scene meno interessanti che rompono il ritmo. Da non appassionato di Top Gun devo dire che ho apprezzato tantissimo questo Maverick, immagino che chi invece è fan del precedente film apprezzerà questo ancora di più..
