Desert Essence Coconut Oil Toothpaste Coconut Mint, Fluoride Free, 6.25 Oz

My new favorite toothpaste! The coconut oil really cleans your teeth and leaves them feeling smooth as can be!! So much better than Old fashioned toothpastes of yesteryear. Colgate etc... The taste is not amazing , but that's not why i'm using it.

Great taste, it leaves your mouth clean and very fresh. No chemicals , no dyes.

Great size, easy to use, and works as promised. What sold me on this product was the natural ingredients. While I would love a stronger minty taste, the quality was great for the price. One thing that may turn some off is the fact that it doesn't froth up like typical toothpaste, but that doesn't bother me because it works and although very light, it tastes great and is long lasting. I bought my tube months ago and I still haven't used a quarter of it yet and I brush at least twice a day. I won't be buying toothpaste from anyone else from now on!

I wanted coconut toothpaste. Live out my tropical island fairytales where I taste coconut before I tuck myself to sleep, but it was when I first opened the tube, I’d come to realize, this toothpaste uses coconut to do its tooth cleaning business, not for flavor. No pina colada dreams for me. Life is just one disappointment after the next, I have yet to make peace with that. But if you’re not going for the flavor, it is toothpaste. Your teeth wind up feeling “clean” …but your coconut craving taste buds, on the other hand, shed a tear or two. The texture is that of …toothpaste. It looks like toothpaste. I don’t think there’s any fluoride, neither is there the fresh, refreshing, and soothing essence of coconut. I need to get back on my happy medication… this is gut wrenching.

Clean product , clean ingredients.

I've used Desert Essence fluoride-free toothpastes for years and like them, so I thought I'd try this one, which features coconut oil. (It's apparently vegan, but I don't know what nonvegan toothpastes contain that's not vegan; it wasn't a factor in my decision to buy it.) I won't purchase it again. No matter how much toothpaste I start brushing with, it quickly disappears, so by the time I'm finished it's as though I didn't use any toothpaste at all. This is true even without wetting the toothbrush. I use two or three times as much per use as I do with any other toothpaste and it still disappears. I can't complain that my teeth don't get clean, but that may may just be the result of thoroughly brushing with an electric toothbrush. I prefer feeling that there's toothpaste on my teeth, so I'll stick with other other fluoride-free toothpastes.

The taste is very subtle. And the feel is super smooth. It works really well and my mouth feels fresh, clean, and healthy. This will be my go to toothpaste from now on!

Excellent product but what I'm pissed about is that I paid over $17 for this toothpaste here on Amazon and found the same product at my local pricey health food store regularly priced at only $9.50...major ripoff.
