Easy to install, functional and priced right...
Thin enough to cut easily and hug the tight spaces, but thick enough to reduce RF in your guitar's cavity. Sticks well without additional adhesive. Quieted down my kit-built Strat copy very well - the only way to get it quieter would be to install humbuckers, which ain't gonna happen. Great product and priced right.

Good quality foil
I use this tape to control snails and slugs. Planting boxes, raised planting boxes, and even my chicken nesting frames need this protection. Snails and slugs do not cross it, so I wrap the legs of my frames and boxes so the slimy buggers can't get in there. Works really well. This foil is good quality, sufficiently thick, and easy to work. Good price as well.

Works as intended, but..
I bought this for a friend's bass, he has an old OLP 5 string that seems extra noisy in single coil mode. It's a passive bass and single coils are always noisy, but I figured it hard little to no shielding in it. Sure enough there was only one tiny piece of foil around the pots, so I lined the entire cavity and the back of the pick guard with this copper foil tape. I should have recorded a before and after, but there wasn't a noticeable change at all. I don't think this was because of the copper foil tape, I think its just a cheap pickup in single coil mode. I'm sure the copper foil is doing it's job just fine though. Just don't expect magical silence if shielding wasn't the problem to begin with. The price is great and there's plenty of tape left to do several other instruments. It wasn't hard to remove the paper backing, it's thin foil but not overly so, it isn't fragile and cheap feeling, and it applied just fine to the very rough routed cavity.

shielding tape
i modded a strat style guitar with alnico 5 pickups and full size pots and a better 5 way switch but when my grandson went to play it at church it caused a lot of hum and feedbaCK OVER THE SOUND SYSTEM SO I ORDERED THIS SHIELDING tape, shielded all the routed cavities where the pickups and pots go and that definetly fixed the problem, no more hum or feedback through the sound system, i highly recommed, very easy to use

It is what it advertises.
Good product. Rather thin, but I didn't need it thicker.

Works great for shielding electric guitar cavities
I bought this to shield electric guitar cavities used to hold pickups and controls. Easy to work with, sticks well and the price was right. 33 ft gives me a lot of copper foil.

Great
Works great for my guitars. The thickness is good, not too thin and not to thick, it’s very sticky so you don’t have to worry about it coming lose, but don’t use it to hold anything structural of course. It’s nice and shiny and the perfect size for grounding the internals of an electric guitar.
