These are 100% actual heat pipes, not just copper tubes!
The heat travels down these heat pipes unbelievably fast! These are so cool to have on hand for demonstrations and experimenting with.

Heat Pipe experiments! Wee!
I wanted to work on designing my own Raspberry Pi heat sink while designing my own RPi NAS case. To avoid all the clutter with hats interfering in that space I decided the best method would be to heat pipe the therms away from the processor to someone else in the case i could calmly (and quietly) dissipate it from. Somewhere where I could safely mount a big 120 mm fan... This pack let me experiment. The heat pipes worked great and with the help of a guide, i was able to bend them a bit and mount them on a head spreader on one end and a series of fins on the other. It worked out nicely and I recommend these to anyone wanting to experiment with heat pipes.

Copper pipes that makes it all cool!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I decided on this because I wanted better cooling for my system however I should have looked at how copper was ran first and did not. I can not replace what I have I just have to add to it. Build quality: These flat copper heat pipes are the real deal they absorb the heat really well. Functionality: They function as they should and dissipate the heat really well. I have also used then to keep hard drives cool too!
