Pros: It’s light with comfortable memory foam, sturdy and has amazing sound quality, battery life and connectivity. I love seamless noice cancellation and transparency mode and gestures (it’s like magic). I also got it pre-owned from Amazon and saved about 50% off the original retail price. Well worth it! Cons: When not in use, wearing it around your neck is quite uncomfortable. I think I would prefer something with a bit more bass.. While the sound stage is dynamic and clear, it does not sound as punchy as JBL drivers but that’s not a deal breaker. Verdict: highly recommend it!

Thanks Amazon for quick delivery, product is AAA rated by me as the packaging was fully intact without any damage. when i begin utilizing, it became part of my daily routine so conveniently, music, fitting, call quality and offered features wise i rank it under value for money category making it super enticing to posses. i loved the black version as it looks so cool and east to maintain, carrying case is made of solid material, i think it would not be comfortable for mass as ear cups are slim and slick so i recommend test it on demo stores before ordering. sound wise bass is not on Sony standard but still punchy to digest, all other aspects of sound quality were upholding Hi-Res standards. so if you are interested i may suggest you can go for it. Hope this would be helpful.

The Sony XM5 headphones are fantastic. The noise cancelation is truly top-tier—blocks out almost everything. Sound quality is great and they're comfortable to wear for long periods. That said, the battery life is just okay (I'd give it a 7/10), and the app isn't very user-friendly. Also, the adaptive sound feature drains my phone’s battery way too fast, so I had to turn it off. Overall, still a solid 4/5 for me. Great headphones with a few things to improve.

I bought these as an alternative to the more sterile and flat response studio headphone I use for music production, I wanted something for 'recreational listening'. These are not only great for that right out of the box, the the companion app allows you to dial in your preferred EQ for different listening uses (movies v music for example). The noise cancellation is very good, not Bose level, but still very good. They seem well built, but time will tell. The charging cable is a little short, but I like that the case has a compartment fir the charging and passive audio cable (and there's room left over for either an airplane adapter and/or a 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter too . It would be nice if those had been included at this price point, but I suspect people buying these will already have a draw full of them.

It’s an excellent ANC headset no other headphones can compare in this price range. The sound is great, though I personally wish it were slightly louder. One downside I must mention is that it’s not foldable. However, the comfort is impressive I don’t even feel like I’m wearing a headset. Overall, it’s a great buy at this price.

After using the Sony WH-1000XM5 for a few months, I deeply regret this purchase, especially given Sony's bold claim of "best call quality ever." Sadly, this is far from the truth. First and foremost, the call quality is abysmal. People on the other end consistently complain about muffled sound and excessive background noise, making conversations frustrating and nearly impossible. Even in relatively quiet environments, the headphones struggle to provide clear audio. The fit and comfort, while initially promising, become uncomfortable during long periods of use. The ear cups, though plush, tend to cause discomfort after about an hour of wear. This, combined with the subpar call quality, makes these headphones hard to justify for anyone needing reliable, long-term use. Overall, I expected much more from a product marketed as having the "best call quality ever." My experience with the Sony WH-1000XM5 has been thoroughly disappointing, and I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable pair of headphones for calls. Save your money and look elsewhere.

It comes with perfect packaging and sounds perfect. Excellent ANC and microphone quality. EQ settings can be changed with ease.

Great noise cancelling

Packaged extremely well. The product finishing is exemplary. The Headphones Connect to my Pixel 6 Pro and Lenovo Notebook effortlessly. Out of the box the sound seemsvto be a little crowded but with the Sony app I was able to choose equaliser settings that I like. The call quality in a crowded noisy place is very good. I am happybwith the conbination of playback sound quality, Active Noise Cancellation and Call quality. This review is written based on 24 hours of owning this gadget. So I do not know if reliability will be as solid as what I have comento expect from Sony based on my experienw with owning and using the WF-1000-XM4. I bought these because the XM4 buds xannot deliver good call quality in noisy places.
