Lenovo - IdeaPad 3i - Essential Laptop Computer - Intel Core i5 - 15.6" FHD Display - 8GB Memory - 512GB Storage - Windows 11 Pro

My laptop no longer works so I had to buy another one. I looked at a couple on a popular shopping tv network, and almost brought another from there--as I have done in the past with favorable results. However, a friend said this is better compared to what I showed them. I was skeptical to purchase this--at such a cost of over 400.00. But I bit the bullet and honestly, it is holding up well. The initial set up was long, so just have patience. I am getting used to using this laptop, as I'm used to using HP, but so far the speed is fine, and everything seems to be great. I hope this laptop lasts me for years. Oh, and speaking of lasting, the battery is pretty good. I like that it states how much time is remaining, vs just the percentage. Lenovo might be my new brand to use. P.S. I heard Lenovo is quite great---medical offices use Lenovo.

I purchased this laptop last month, and I absolutely love it. It is lightweight, yet very sturdy. It has a backlit keyboard with buttons that are like "magic", smooth and easy to type on, and quickly too. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the camera. I've done a couple of zoom calls and the quality seems very poor/low. I looked very white/pale and the quality wasn't super clear. Luckily I don't need the camera/webcam that often. As a personal laptop computer it rocks, and I can't recommend it enough!!

This brand is the same brand my last job bought all the sales reps. They last forever and work perfectly for my needs. Clear screen, buttons are easy to type with, it is fairly lightweight, and not too thick. I am so glad I went with this laptop since it’s a brand I trust and have never had issues with. Great value for the Inc edible price!!! Definitely worth purchasing for the price and value.

I love my laptop. I purchased it for school, and I must say that it was a great purchase. It has good battery life, light weight, and good quality.

It stopped working after a BIOS update and Lenovo support is a contradiction of terms. The machine was not dropped and looks in pristine condition. I bought this for my daughter starting college and it worked reasonably well for school for two and a half years. During the week before finals it prompted her to update the BIOS and then would not restart. The screen is black after the keyboard flashes on with the fnlock and capslock and numlock keys still lighted. It seems to be a hardware issue that is a common problem on these devices that Lenovo has ignored. Buy a different machine if don't want to replace it within a few years. ***Edit*** I was eventually able to reset the BIOS by pressing the reset button for over 30 seconds and then leaving it overnight so that it would restart. It still has quirks like not powering off completely when given the shut down command. Apparently the BIOS problem is a known issue. Other major brands have a display message telling you not to unplug or power off during a BIOS update. This one doesn't. It's a budget laptop, so I raised the review from one to three stars. ***edit*** The reset will no longer bring it back.

computer looks beautiful so far. I was very concerned about the power plug because poor power plug design can easily lead to failures and breakages... and the power plug seems flimsy and badly designed. I plan to make it work as long as possible anyway. I have it desk mounted for now but I plan to take it on trips when I can. So I will plan to give my opinion at that time for that. So far so good. It took me a few days to get it dialled in to the point where I feel comfortable working with it but it seems good so far.

I absolutely love my laptop! It has a number side panel which is fine for me as I work with numbers on my laptop a good bit. Everything works great on my laptop, its an easy set up. All my information was transferred very smoothly. It is a larger laptop than I was used to but it still fits in all my bags, just needed a new sleeve for it. Buy the laptop!

System is good as per configuration. But had to return as windows is not active. Sad.

This laptop and have been using for a while now overall I am quite satisfied with my purchase
