Saves me a lot of money. Works great

This is not my first filter jar. I purchased a different one here on Amazon and it came without the spout attached. Not a problem, it’s easy to attach. The spout, heavy and made of metal, was packaged in a little box and placed INSIDE the filter for shipping. This weight pulled the mesh filter off the metal ring (neck) of the filter unit, making it not useable. Thankfully there was a refund and I purchased this brand as my replacement. Very happy with my NEW jug. This brand ships their jar with the spout attached, so no damage can happen to the filter unit. A big plus. Also it is in a nicely wrapped in a thick layer protective bubble wrap. The spout will most likely need to be tightened upon arrival to ensure a good watertight seal. Not a problem. This filter is an extremely fine mesh and even the bottom is mesh instead of solid metal. A big plus. The filter holds the coffee grinds (or tea leaves) in place, but fine sediment will get through. Keep in mind this isn’t like a PAPER coffee filter you may be currently using in a regular brewer. The sediment will settle on the bottom of any container and will be fine unless you intentionally stir or shake the jug. ALSO, this spout has a small fine filter attachment on the inside (removable for cleaning) to strain the liquid a second time as it is being dispensed. Yay!! Extremely wonderful jar. Highly recommend. Also, customer service! I contacted them about a replacement filter (for the previous purchased jug with the broken filter) and there are replacement filters available. They were kind to work with me even though I hadn’t purchased their filter jug. Kudos for great service.

This jug is exactly what I needed for my cold brew! Strainer works well-although grounds do seep out after a couple days so make sure you remove that after a day or so. The spout does need to be put together but it had good instructions and even came with a tool to tighten and remove it for washing.

It is easy to assemble and it is thick heavy glass. I was using this to make cold brew and put it in the fridge, I put Bizzy coffee into a pouch (like a filter bag) then put it into the strainer into the jar. I did notice the jar gets heavy if completely full, and if you have it in the fridge and it has condensation on the outside you have to be really careful it doesn’t slide out of your hands and onto the floor. I stopped using it for that reason alone in the summer

I have had other coffee makers in the past. I bought 3 of the 2 qt size ones with the cone shaped filter. I went real well until I was tired of the small container so I went with 2 gal size ones. You have to be careful with them and make sure you are use the coarse setting on your grinder and make sure you scoop out the fines in the grinder cup. If people don’t have instructions, I attached a picture. If you still can’t figure it out from the picture it goes like this Faucet-metal washer-plastic washer-glass-plastic washer-metal washer-nut. Hope this helps.

This container is the perfect size to fit into our fridge. The spout doesn’t leak like I’ve seen in reviews for similar products, and the mesh strainer inside is tight enough to not let any grounds into the cold brew.

I absolutely loved it, but have only been able to use it twice and now it is garbage. Never been through the dishwasher, hand wash only. I just went to make another batch of cold brew, and as soon as the water hit it, it cracked. (Room temp). Aesthetically, pleasing, spout, leaks a little, but nothing I couldn’t handle. Very disappointing.

I love the fact I can make my tea for the week, set it in the refrigerator and use the faucet fill my tea glass, never having to take it out of the fridge. There is only one thing, you have to be careful to be sure that when you fill a glass there is a drop in the faucet that will drop after you remove the glass. I do feel that the top should have a seal in it because it does not get tight. Those two things are minor issues, other than that I love it, I am very pleased with it.

Use it all the time when my family comes to visit. Easy to brew, easy to clean and easy to use.

Unlike other cold brew coffee pitchers I've purchased this one actually has a really fine mesh strainer and you don't end up with coffee grounds in-between your teeth! Highly recommended! It holds a lot of coffee! Fun Fact, cold coffee keeps for up to two weeks, and this will hold about two weeks worth of coffee for a non-heavy brew drinker.

When I open the door to my fridge in the morning it's the fist thing I see. I love the Mason jar look and this is no exception. Perfect size, lasts me about 2 week per brew. The filter inside is so fine that I just use regular ground up canned coffee. Will defo look at getting a second one to make my fruit infused waters.
