Delicious! But note the product is not 100% nut safe.
Delicious BUT beware of allergies! My daughter has a peanut and tree nut allergy. The listing does not indicate itโs manufactured in a space that also has nuts and the packaging says, โMay contain nuts, as a result. However, I gave my kid a tiny taste and the a little more and she did NOT have have a reaction. Such a reputable company likely had high safety standards and as a result, she was fine. Also, the kid came cracked but the jar was fine and it was still sealed. Five stars because it was delicious and a great chocolate spread alternative.

I'm instantly a happy 8-year-old again
I've got a life-long love affair going on with Cadbury chocolate. Absolutely prefer the creamier European chocolate over the kind I usually find in the U.S., and Cadbury is still my favorite, by a wide margin. But if you're a true chocoholic, you know that getting it a little melty is the way to take chocolate from lovely to heavenly. I actually used to buy the big Cadbury bars as a kid and then melt them on the heater in my room -- not something my mom and dad approved of (especially when I would forget they were there and find liquified chocolate everywhere). This is much better. Perfect, in fact. Just a spoonful at a time, and I get to pretend I'm still a grownup. I've taken to having a jar in the cupboard always, and not noticing how long it takes me to go through it. SO good.

So very delicious
When Hershey's stopped making their chocolate spread I despaired. I found this while surfing Amazon and it is *almost* the perfect replacement. It's not quite as aggressively chocolate-y but my family ate the whole jar in 3 days so clearly that wasn't a huge deterrent. We like to scoop out a chunk of chocolate onto a plate then scoop a chunk of peanut butter beside it. Take some chocolate with your spoon then add some peanut butter to your spoon. The ratio is up to you. Because the chocolate flavor is slightly less chocolate-y we had to up the ratio of chocolate-to-peanut-butter. Will definitely buy again.

WARNING: Do NOT purchase! Uses deceptive ingredient listings (the vegetable oil is rapeseed oil).
I bought this spread thinking that it would taste like the authentic cadbury chocolate bars sold internationally, but just as a spreadable form. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed as there is a rancid aftertaste associated with the food. I was surprised because the cadbury chocolates I usually purchase, at least the ones manufactured internationally, have a renowned flavor and taste. I researched the vegetable oil that's listed on the ingredient label and it turns out that they use rapeseed oil of all the things! You can find the full label on the tesco site if you google "Cadbury Milk Chocolate Spread". The other possible oil they use is palm, but I am sure the batch I received used rapeseed because palm does not go rancid and is generally healthier to cook with. This is completely and utterly unacceptable because rapeseed oil is highly inflammatory (high omega-6 content) and should not be used in any recipe. It is indicated in coronary heart disease and many other health afflications here in the United States. It is also possibly GMO but I could be wrong on that one. All I know is that rapeseed needs to be avoided like the plague. Let the company know so that it changes the label and people have a better idea of what oils are used. I am very disappointed in cadbury. I am not sure if I will purchase their products in the future.

Sweet, silky-smooth, and chocolatey... but still disappointing.
I bought this spread because I'm a fan of Cadbury chocolate. Even the sickly sweet American versions of the Cadbury cream chocolate Easter eggs and milk chocolate bars give me good bangs for the buck in terms of flavor and texture, unlike most of their competitors here in the States, which tend to be waxy and bland. Other than an occasional stale batch or steep shipping cost (which had more to do with bad luck or bad decisions on the part of the vendor than with the products themselves), I've never had reason to complain about any Cadbury chocolate import I've ever ordered over the years (not even the powdered drinking cocoa, which is theoretically easy to ruin in shipping). This product, unfortunately, was a bit of an exception. If I had given it a blindfold taste test, I would never have thought to associate it with things like Flake or Aero. Moreover, it's just slightly too sweet and too runny as a spread and doesn't lend itself well to baking, either (other than as a cake icing, perhaps). It doesn't blend well into milk or coffee. I was able to make some nice, soft chocolate truffles with it by rolling it into baker's cocoa and salt, but that's not my usual purpose in buying a spread. Next time I have a craving for a non-homemade chocolatey spread, I shall go with Nutella (which I can get at local stores anytime for less than half the price and find much more satisfying to eat).

So delicious
This is so good. All my children and grandkids love it. Some make a sandwich with it and add banana or peanut butter. It's hard not to take a big spoonful. It's so smooth and Cadbury never makes anything that is not delicious. I would buy it again but it is on the expensive side, so, only on special occasions. Yum!

Smooth!
So good, so smooth. So happy I found this as I am allergic to nuts so Nutella is no longer on the menu for me.
