Rode RodeCover Dust Cover for RodeCaster Pro II System

Yes, this cover is perfect. Fit for the roadie podcast too and I’m so glad that I got it keeps a dust clean, but I can see all the buttons underneath and it’s kind of cool cause it has a logo on it.

It’s pricy but worth it. I wouldn’t get the board without it but it’s up to you. Keeps the dust out real good.

It’s just a dust cover but it is molded specifically for the Rodecaster Pro 2 so it fits nicely on and around the device without taking any more space than it needs to. I like that it is clear plastic so that you can see what’s underneath. The plastic is firm so if you occasionally need to stack some small items on it (not too heavy!) then it will hold up just fine. There’s nothing not to like.

Love it. It fits well and looks great. Just a well made cover for a very good mixer which deserves to be protected.

Love it, but it does scratch easily. Quite a bit over priced.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Easy to glide with my chair, can barely see it on the carpet, and feels like it'll last a life time. Two things to consider: 1) There was a little plastic baggie taped into the packing material that I didn't notice till throwing it away. It has adhesive circles to put on the mat, presumably to aid in not slipping on hard floors. Keep an eye out for it! 2) The packing material nightmare you might have read about is real. I get it, it's very well packaged, and it came unharmed. However, the white foam stuff begins to disintegrate the more you handle it, especially if you're trying to take the tape off of it to break it down to throw away. If I had it to do over again, I'd cut the tape from the inner cardboard framing strips and take the whole thing out as a whole. As it is, it looks like a white Christmas happened in my living room.

This does the job protecting my Rodecaster Pro II, but it feels like highway robbery. A much better price for this item would be $35. Heck even $39.99 wouldn't feel like I was being taken to the cleaners for a single piece of molded poly-carbonate plastic with a logo. Røde makes great sounding and high quality items, but the pricing here is indicative of corporate greed.

I really like the quality of this piece - it fits perfectly on my RCP2 and I especially like the label on the front of the cover. It is thick plastic and does not look or feel cheap.

Recomendo!
