Iโm not saying my car is a magnet butโฆ
Listen, Iโm not saying my car is a magnet for bird poop, but if there was an Olympic event for โMost Creative Splatter Patterns by Feathered Fiends,โ my poor sedan would be the canvas of champions. No matter where I parkโshady tree, open lot, or that one sketchy spot by the dumpsterโbirds find me. Itโs like theyโve got a group chat called โOperation: Ruin This Guyโs Paint Job.โ So, when I discovered the Chemical Guys WAC_707RU_16 EcoSmart Waterless Car Wash & Wax, it was like finding Excalibur in a porta-potty. This stuff is my new ride-or-die, and I keep a bottle in my car at all times, right next to my emergency granola bars and my girlfriendโs glittery sunglasses she insists on leaving everywhere. Hereโs the scene: Iโm on a date, feeling like James Bond in my (freshly washed) car, whenโSPLATโa bird unloads what looks like a Jackson Pollock masterpiece on my hood. My girlfriend, bless her, screams, โNot again! Itโs like theyโre aiming for you!โ I donโt panic. Iโm a man with a plan. I pull over, whip out my EcoSmart like itโs a lightsaber, and get to work. This stuff is magic. You spray it on, wipe it with a microfiber cloth (pro tip: keep those in your trunk too), and boomโbird poop vanishes faster than my dignity when I tried to โtaste the rainbowโ with her kombucha collection. The wax in it leaves my car shinier than my forehead after a spicy taco night, and itโs so easy I could do it blindfolded (though I donโt recommend trying). The best part? Itโs waterless, so Iโm not out here looking like a soggy chihuahua trying to hose down my car in a gas station parking lot. Itโs safe for my carโs paint, my motorcycle, and probably my ego if I could spray it there. Plus, it smells like victory, not like the inside of a birdโs regret. Iโve used it on my SUV, my buddyโs RV, and even my neighborโs creepy van with the wizard muralโworks like a charm every time. One time, I was mid-wipe when my girlfriend goes, โBabe, youโre like a poop-fighting superhero!โ and Iโm pretty sure thatโs the moment I peaked in life. The EcoSmart is my cape. Itโs compact, so it fits in my glovebox, ready for the next avian assault. And letโs be real, with my luck, Iโll be fending off a Hitchcock-level bird attack by next Tuesday. Verdict: The Chemical Guys EcoSmart Waterless Car Wash & Wax is a 16-ounce bottle of pure, bird-poop-destroying joy. Itโs easy, effective, and makes my car look so good my girlfriend almost forgave me for eating her last yogurt. If youโre battling the same feathered foes I am, get this stuff. Your carโand your sanityโwill thank you. Five stars, no contest. Now, if youโll excuse me, I hear a suspicious caw outside. Note: No birds were harmed in the making of this review, but Iโm definitely side-eyeing that pigeon on my mailbox.

Quick and Easy
First let me just say that I am not a car-wash enthusiast, or the type that religously washes my car. I am not picky enough to spend the time and effort to apply multiple coats of wax, protectants, etc so my car is Car show ready. I just bought a 2014 Forester and was looking for something EASY to use without breaking out the hose and bucket. I live in the Northeast where there is a lot of snow, dirt, and salt during the winter. Happy to report that this fits the bill perfectly. Had no problems using this indoors in my garage. The result looked as good as a detailing that would have cost me well over the price of what I paid for the gallon. Heres my method: 1. Use microfiber towels, one to wipe, one to dry/polish 2. Spray the ready-use on one body panel until its thoroughly saturated. Wait about 15-30s 3. Wipe the dirt in one direction, or using a 'S' pattern. Do not rub back and forth. Flip wiping towel or replace towel as it gets dirty.. Dont continue wiping with a dirty section. 4. Dry/polish using the other microfiber towel. I used circular motions to polish. After wiping the dirty away, you will see the wax it leaves behind. You want to polish until the wax leftover from the wipe is not visible. 5. Repeat on each car section... replace towels as needed. This stuff works fine on glass/tires as well. For a quick 30 minute job, I think it was well worth the effort. After a couple days, the wax was still beading water and looking great. Spending the extra time and money on traditional methods might give you that extra 'pop' in look and finish, but whether or not its worth it is subjective obviously. Instructions say you can use out of the container, or dilute 1:1 or 1:2 parts mixing water. My first wash was not diluted, the next one I am doing will be 1:2 parts distilled water. Will post results when i get around to it

Highly recommend! Easy to use.
Likes: no water needed, so can be done anywhere and feels like less work than with typical water-required car washing; a nice scent; appears to be simple ingredients; easy to use; lifts off dirt effortlessly; leaves a nice shine after buffing; can be watered down to "stretch" the bottle, so we split it into a second spray bottle and add some water; have reordered a few times now via Amazon because works well, and arrives in a sealed plastic shrinkwrap all around the bottle (to ease any worry of leaks). Dislike: After a while, a short while even, the spray trigger goes bad and no longer works, which prevents using the spray. Recommend having an extra empty spray bottle or two around for this reason. Previous to the two bottles just received, the former bottle caps were very hard to open (due to the type of anti-openong screw thread on it), requiring help of pliers/wrenches, but the recent bottles have regular thread, making it easier to open. I need to open the bottle to half the liquid into another spray bottle. Recommend this product to anyone who likes to take care of their car and on a budget. We use it each weekend to upkeep cleaning of two vehicles due to the area we live in constantly having dirt flying and settling on vehicles on the daily. Oh, also recommend having a lot of vehicle microfiber cloths (like the bulk pack from Costco, or the pack from WalMart vehicle section) for wiping away the dirties, and for buffing. Makes a difference to switch our for a clean cloth every so often.

Does the job
I am new to waterless and DIY car detailing, so my experience is different from others. I am impressed with the cleaning results where it could clean. There are tough debris, bug stains at the plastic bottom which are harder to go. I took about 1 hour and more to clean just car exterior including wheels (not tires). I consumed about 65% of the bottle for the first time. I used remaining bottle for the second car wash and it wasn't adequate. For the amount of liquid needed, I felt it as expensive car wash. I did not have bottle issues. Final look is awesome with glossy look under the sun. I gave some stars because no water is needed and I can do car wash in my garage. I expected a magical clean but it wasn't. I had to go multiple passes to clean and thereby causing fine scratches. I could not tell if the scratches were result of the detailing using this product. I would be cautious and use even better cloth and more product to ease the cleaning. Only mistake I did is to reuse portion of towel cloth when it is not super dirty. I brought 8 towels for detailing and the lesson I learnt is that I needed more like 20 smaller towels. Be warned that there is a risk of scratching since towel is in contact with surface. Otherwise it is as simple as just mist and clean it with high quality microfiber cloth. The microfiber cloth does the magic in picking up the dirt. Also it is not suitable for heavily dirty car. It requires prerinse to wash off debris. My car is garage kept and lightly used, so I clean every 3-4 weeks.

This is the best bang for your buck
I am a Lyft driver. As such, I am CONSTANTLY having to clean my car. It's always basically clean all the time, but right now where I live it rains every day and I have road splash and spotting from the rain. This awesome stuff gives me a way to get my car clean really quickly without needing any water. I looked at Chemical Guys YouTube vids on how to do it, and I just do what they suggest. It's basically this: Use clean microfiber rags that you sort of "rotate" to lift the dirt off and not scratch the paint, doing a small piece at a time, and then buff with another microfiber rag. There's wax in it, so you're also waxing at the same time. This little bottle dilutes into about 2 gallons ( I think), which I diluted immediately into bigger jugs right when I received it. I estimate I have about at least a year's worth of solution, maybe more. It's pretty awesome and I think it was a great, and very economical purchase. You can see similar products at retail locations by other manufacturers, but when you see the pricing, you'll see that the ability to dilute it into LOTS of product makes this a way better buy. I will easily and without hesitation buy it again in a year or so when I need some more. Cannot speak more highly of how much I like this car wash solution. Highly recommend. A revision: This is written about 2 hours after the above was written. I left the charger charging and lo and behold, the 4th light has lit and is blinking! So what I wrote above as a criticism does not apply! I have had this about 6 weeks and I have never seen that 4th light lit. I was wrong and I would make this charger 6 stars if they would let me. Awesome product!

I'm happy
I gave it five stars mainly based on one thing, one is that it does clean your car and the wax part, wellโฆit gives about a 3 or 4 day shine. You would need to top it off with the Chemical Guys Insta-Wax or something similar that you like if you only do a wash every two weeks just to keep the shine going. The first time I used Eco-Smart, I had used nearly half the bottle. It seems to me and Iโm pretty sure everyone else almost has that same kind of feeling that youโre not putting enough EcoSmart on the car. It would take a couple more times before I started to know when I was over spraying or under spraying. To be honest, I tend to over spray. The Ready to Use is a great way of seeing if EcoSmart is for you or not. If youโre happy with Chemical Guys EcoSmart, I would recommend you get the concentrated form and diluted per the dilution ratio as its more cost effective or get the gallon size ready to use, whatever is easier for you. Applying the product is pretty straight forward and I would recommend you watch some of Chemical Guys YouTube Videos on Eco-Smart. The YouTube videos where very helpful from Chemical Guys, as well as, watching other manufactures talking about applying a waterless car wash product on the car. It takes a while before you get to the point of getting a 3 to 4 car wash out of a 16oz bottle but it also depends on how dirty your car is. Make sure you do have plenty of clean microfiber towels on hand. If by chance you should drop your microfiber towel onto the ground, PLEASE, do not use but just sit it aside. Microfiber towel will pick up debris off the ground and when you start to wipe the car you have an excellent chance of scratching the paint. Also make sure the microfiber towel is not dirty - most likely you will scratch the paint. Microfiber towels are like a magnet in that peddles and crap from the ground will attach to the fiber of the microfiber towel. I would suggest before using any fresh microfiber towel to run your hand over the microfiber towel to feel any objects that might be embedded in the towel and make sure the microfiber towel feels soft, be safe rather than sorry. Good luck!

Great for quick touch ups that leave mirror finish
What a crazy cool product. You can get your car mirror finish without a drop of water. Just follow the instructions and use a REAL microfiber cloth and you'll be blown away with this. You can have the best chemicals/ washing products in the world but your car will look like trash if you don't use a good cloth. Hence I but theirs lol. But seriously, this stuff is liquid gold for being lazy and not having to go crazy with tons of water and a bucket ect ect. Fantastic stuff

Lifesaver and so useful in so many ways
I cannot say enough about this product - it is absolutely fantastic and does a great job cleaning my cars. I am very finicky about detailing and can say this product has never scratched, swirled, or otherwise marred my paint. The reason I bought it was to have an alternate way of washing my car during winter - it was either take it to the pay-'n'-spray and use the nasty, scratchy brushes there, do this, or just not wash at all which wasn't an option for me! The key to success with it is to make sure you have several good quality, deep piled microfiber cloths to use with it. I have a small station wagon and typically go through 4 total, and use about 32-48oz of water depending on how dirty the car is. If you make sure to spray enough and wipe in one direction, you won't have any issues. Chemical Guys has some great videos on YouTube about how to use it and I suggest you start there; following their recommendations helped me out tremendously. This product would be great for anyone wanting to keep a car clean in winter in a colder climate, who is living in an apartment without access to a hose, who lives in an area with water or soap use restrictions, or just cares about the environment in general. Compared to the 150-300 GALLONS of water you typically use with a car wash, this product basically pays for itself and is so much better for the earth. Highly recommended!

Great waterless wash and wax
Ive detailed many cars because I had an automotive shop when I was young, but I have never used a water-less wash and wax before. I bought it do do the door jambs, trunk and engine bay of a newer car I bought. I would never use it on the outer body before washing it first, then I would use a proper liquid carnauba wax instead. But it worked fine on the jambs after first wiping them down with a damp cloth. It cleans minor surface dirt without scratching the paint when using a microfiber cloth and leaves a nice film of wax that buffs easily. When on sale for $12.16, it is reasonably priced if you are using it on a small area, otherwise a gallon would be a much better deal. I checked the safety data sheet and as with everything I use that contains poisonous chemicals, I wear a respirator to protect against harmful vapours as well as nitrile gloves.

Really a good Shine and quality from world best brand for car ...
I am using this product for my Car. Just mixed 15 ml to 250 ml spray container. Sprayed on the car body after few minutes just wiped it off. Really a good Shine and quality from world best brand for car cleaning. The item is fully seal and in original condition. If you use for two days a week if would probably come more than a year. We can make around 8 litres from this. Dilution ratio is 1:16. Must buy product those who want quality car care

Dangerous will cost you a lot to fix what it will do
Leaves so many swirl marks and scratches even when applied on almost a clean car with expensive microfiber towels. Will not try again, will have to take the car for paint correction
