Gameboy advance tri-wing screwdriver

I ordered this screwdriver recently and I've already used it on a number of things without having anything strip. I got this one because it looked like it was higher quality than my old screwdriver, which was designed poorly and the metal on it literally flaked off the first time I used it on my Wii to repair the disc holding clamp. I've had no such misfortune with this one, though. I suspect maybe there's variance in batches since there seem to be a few bad reviews of it floating around but mine came in immaculate condition and it's held up to a good amount of torque so far. I'll make sure to post an update if it does strip at some point, but I don't really expect it to. Pretty satisfied overall for the price.

I looked for about an hour before I decided on this Tri-wing. I Work on game systems on a regular basis, so I was definitely skeptical about the quality for this price...I was pleasantly surprised! Pros: -Works perfect on those proprietary Nintendo Wii Tri-Wing screws -Slightly magnetic tip helps hold screw in place. Very weak, but nonetheless magnetic -Quality built. Will last for a long time Cons: -None So there you have it. If you're needing to get into that Wii console, nun chuck or remote, and don't need an entire set of 'professional precision' screwdrivers, then this is your answer!

My Wii spindle motor broke. I purchased this in coordination with BestDealUSA Spindle Hub Motor Assembly Replacement Repair Part for Nintendo Wii Console . First off, yep it opens up the screws it is supposed to. Additionally, this driver is magnetic. This came in handy even for the phillips head screws. This also worked on getting the three special screws holding the spindle motor in. The YouTube video I was watching said just a small flathead would work but I didn't have that exact side head. I discovered this tool caught enough to remove and reattach the motor.

I own 18 official GameCube controllers and I needed to clean and repair a lot of them after years of fun and play. The quality of the screwdriver was very good and each screw came off with ease. I ended up replacing the screws with regular phillips modes so if in the future, I can't find this model, I won't be SOL. Every Nintendo product since the original NES uses the same type of screws and are the same size. I recommend this to anyone who wants to do light surgery to their cartage or controllers.

My Wii would not read or eject the disc. So I wanted to get the disk out, but the Nintendo Gods have created a screw that is impenetrable by normal means. Unless you get this Tri-Wing screwdriver. Not only was I able to open the Wii quickly I was able to do it without striping one screw. I got the disc but it also fixed the read problem. So instead of spending $75 to send it back to the Gods I was able to get my Wii up and running for a mere $4.50. I'm no mathematician, but I think I saved a lot of money.

I wanted to open up my Pokeomon Ruby cartidrige because its internal battery had run dry. However, I needed a tri-wing screwdriver, and this one did just the job. Also, I am confident that I can use this screwdriver to open up any other nintendo products such as the wii, the gameboy advance itself, etc. I was afraid at first because I had read stories about defective screwdrivers ripping out screws, but thankfully, this screwdriver was a good investment. e gentle with the screwdriver and it will last long. I'm happy.

This screwdriver does its job but you can get something similar for a lot cheaper. Keep on looking. A quick google search will lead to the same thing for only $1 or $2 shipped!! I found this out after I bought this item

it made out of poor quality metal and probably, would not last long. It fit the purpose and can be used for a short time.
