I genuinely love this product! Some background: I have combination skin and often have difficulties finding a good color match due to time faded freckles all over my face. I am in my early thirties and I feel like my skin is in that weird in between phase where I am starting to get a few fine lines and my skin is starting to lose a little bit of its glow. I want to make sure I’m using products that are going to be gentle as my skin ages but also help me get some serious natural looking glow back. So I’ll list the reasons this product is now my everyday go to! 1. The coverage is buildable and isn’t heavy. I also have the kabuki brush and I like that I can have variations of coverage in different areas and it will all still blend together seamlessly. 2. I use a liquid concealer for my eyes. This powder blends over it well and doesn’t cause the concealer to cake up underneath like some other products I’ve tried. 3. The blurring and brightening effect is just beautiful! It has given me my natural glow back. 4. I use shade medium and I find it works very well with my freckles and complexion. It doesn’t mismatch my neck or look too light/dark. ANDDDD it doesn’t show up orange! Big win! 5. I don’t really need to use liquid foundation anymore because I get such good variation in whatever coverage I want. 6. Touch ups are very easy. I can go from less coverage during the day to simply adding more coverage at night before I go to dinner or anything like that. 7. Easy to travel with. I have started keeping it in my bag every day. 8. It doesn’t irritate my skin. 9. For a powder, it holds well throughout the day without clogging your pores. I don’t need a setting spray. 10. Because of the formula’s versatility, I feel that this is a great powder for ALL age types. My mom (age 65) now uses it and so does my younger coworker (age 26). Overall, great quality, versatility, broad coverage range, brightening, shade matching, and skin gentleness. Pricing is very reasonable as well. I’m truly grateful I found this as my new everyday foundation!

I'm almost 60/F, some wrinkles and a fair amount of discoloration, red spots, and sun damage, esp. on cheeks. This foundation (baked balance and brighten, color FAIR) is really easy to use. Feels like nothing, even when building. I used only basic, soft, fluffy brushes I had on hand; they worked well for light coverage, but I do think a denser brush option - like a retracting kabuki, as recommended - might work better for building. Very good coverage on bare skin (moisturizar only), pracrically perfect over an inexpensive primer. Almost all my flaws disappeared, even without concealer. Did not settle in wrinkles, either. I FEEL PRET-TY, OH-SO PRET-TY!...or, at least, "not bad for an old broad, not at all!". I do find that using primer is better over large pores and significant discoloration, such as have I. I used a budget brand with spf 30 and the foundation went on perfectly. It's FAST, too. The longest part if the process is waiting for the primer to dry, maybe 1-3 minutes. Found it difficult to shade match - but to be fair: When is it *not* difficult? Would be a very nice thing if Laura Geller Beauty offered an inexpensive "sampler" (say, $5.00 for just enough product for 1/2 face in two adjacent shades) to help in this process. I tried "PORCELAIN" first, but it was just a tad too light. The model wearing "FAIR" looks like an olive tone to me, whereas (I think?) I'm more peachy, like the "LIGHT" model - but I'm super pale...but ... but.. hem ..haw.. Seems really wasteful to open, use once and return a full product to try a color that isn't quite right, as I have. "Samplers" would really help reduce the volume of product returns, not to mention reduce waste and carbon footprints - just sayin'. Step up,😀Laura Geller. I love this foundation! It is buildable, so you can control coverage! Blends beautifully and is not heavy! It covers imperfections and leave a nice glow on my face! Great purchase!

I got the Fair and was not sure if it would work because I have a neutral skin tone that gets pale in winter and tans in summer. I also have olive undertones to my skin. I got it specifically due to cheapest price point. I consider this makeup high end for my meager budget and would never pay full price. However something told me to go ahead. I don’t regret the purchase at all. I’m 50 with slight signs of an aging face, few wrinkles, a little redness sometimes, hormonal acne, once in a rare while. It went on darker than anticipated and later self adjusted in about 15-20 minutes. It evens out skin and gives a soft focus diffused look. Very quick to apply and stays put. Plus it feels like I have nothing on my skin, no makeup feel at all. I would definitely recommend especially at the current sale price. Give it a try because it definitely looks like this lady has some good makeup. It would be lovely to be able to afford to try more of this line. Just like good skincare at any age, a good makeup line is definitely a nice up level. This one is definitely worth it! I am normally an Maybeline BB dream fresh user or Covergirl Olay simply Ageless. I find this to be light to buildable, sheer matt coverage, that doesn’t sit in fine lines. It acts like setting powder but is actually a foundation. If you’re a fan of 5 minute makeup or the no makeup makeup look this is definitely it! Good moisturizer, a mascara, lip gloss or lipstick and this as foundation and you’re out the door in 5!

Nice color but was very cake-y on the face. I think it enhances the wrinkles rather than fade them. It seems like any other bronzer powder I have bought in the past for far less money. I put moisturizer on and let it soak in before I used the make up base. It did not make me break out though, which I thought it might because I have very sensitive skin. But be aware it does rub off on everything your face touches(clothes especially) while wearing the base.

I’m loving this baked powder foundation. I’ve never tried a powder foundation because I assumed there was no way it would work as well as liquid. Boy was I wrong. I put it on at 10am this morning. It’s now after 11pm and my makeup still looks fresh and as if I just put it on. It hasn’t worn off at all! Further, I have very oily skin and often apply powder several times a day. But I haven’t needed to apply powder even once today. Even my nose has remained oil free. I put it on dry at first, then put the other half on wet - but I didn’t really notice a difference either way, so I’ll probably apply it dry from now on. The coverage is great and gives an even, matte finish on my skin while lightly covering some sun spots I have on my face. And the color is a perfect match to my light, but slightly tanned skin. Today is the first time I’ve used it, but so far I am blown away and wish I’d tried it years ago. The price is a tad high if you’re on a budget, but it’s well worth it now that I’ve used it. I’ll be curious to see how long it lasts though. Regardless, I highly recommend and am super happy with this purchase.

The Laura Geller baked foundation is perfect for mature skin. It feels light on the skin and doesn’t look heavy or cakey like some foundations can. It gives a natural finish that still looks like your skin, just more even and smooth. I love that it lasts all day without feeling like you have a lot of makeup on. While it’s especially great for women whose skin is starting to age, I do think all skin types could enjoy it. It’s a comfortable, easy-to-wear foundation that gives a polished look without being overdone.

Doesn’t cover as well as advertised, and a little flaky

My wife bought this and she loves it. she has fair skin and the color is perfect and covers what she wants covered. she says it can feel a bit dry when first applied but lasts all day without setteling in to fine lines

After using the same foundation for the past 10 years, it was time for a change. The foundation I used in my 40’s no longer looked good in my 50’s and sat in my fine lines or made my skin look caked & dry. I’d done lots of research into different brands and it was a choice between Jones Road or Laura Geller. After watching a lot of videos, reviews & tutorials decided to give LG a go as it was less expensive. I’ve always brought make up in store but was reassured by their free returns/exchange policy incase the shade wasn’t right. I also liked the fact that they were Cruelty Free - something that was important to me but not immediately obvious on their website, I had to do some research to find this out (Laura Geller you’re missing a trick here!) I was pleased with the packaging and how the product looked but was really impressed with how the actual product worked for me. I’ve found dabbing a little on at a time with a big brush helps build the coverage to your liking. It definitely doesn’t sit in my fine lines and doesn’t look cakey. You can achieve a natural look easily and it’s long lasting. It definitely covers the redness on my nose & cheeks. I’ve been so impressed with this I ordered the next shade down too as my skin colour changes in winter in the UK when I lose my tan. I also ordered the Baked Starter Kit direct from LG in the USA as the discount was better. I’ve been beyond impressed with this. As a blonde with pinky tones, the colour choices are perfect and the products stay put. I’ve never been able to blend eyeshadow effectively but this colour combo and product makes me look like a pro!! So, a big YES for Laura Geller from the UK for me, great value for money and great products which are easy to use and compliment mature skin beautifully!

Ich mache mir selten die Mühe eine Rezension zu schreiben, dieses Puder hat es allerdings verdient! Als Kosmetikerin kenne ich allerhand Bräunungspuder, dieses ist unschlagbar! Ich bin ein eher blasser Herbsttyp und habe mich trotzdem an das dunkle Toffee gewagt und siehe da es wirft ein wunderschönes Braun in mein blasses Gesicht 👌 Mit dem richtigen Pinsel ein Highlight zu setzen, schafft jeder! Ich werde es immer wieder kaufen 🤗
