Could these me made into light sabers? Or are they too short? Says they can be stretched.

I would say know to making into light sabers. They are only about a 1 1/2 inch diameter and are too bendy to stay rigid as a light saber.

How long does the battery last? Is it replaceable?

The battery did not last longer than a few days with each of the tubes. Christmas day till maybe New Year's, and that was only because there were 8 in the box. The item is not rechargeable.
