How long can I wear this for in a day?

I wore mine for 10+ hours for wedding. It was form fitting and smoothing for me. The top came to the bottom of my regular bra so there was zero conflict and bunching. Only struggle was pulling on and off to go the bathroom. Bought a Large and I wear size 12-14

My hips are 39 in and my waist is 27 in what size I get?
