Sougayilang Carp Fishing Reel 13+1 Stainless Steel BB Bait Feeder Spinning Reel for Freshwater and Saltwater

I don't write a lot of reviews, but when a product exceeds expectations for it's price range I do. Since taking up sturgeon fishing a year ago, I have four different rod/reel combos. The reels are all 5000/6000 size, and this is my third bait feeder reel. This is the lowest priced bait feeder of the three, and the quality is just as good as the other two, which are two and three times as much. What impresses me most is the crank, which is built rather stout. One of my other reels felt like it was going to break when I had large sturgeon on. Sure, the reel may be on the low end as far as price, but it's built just as good as ones priced higher. Also, bait feeder reels tend to be priced higher than standard spinning reels. IMO, they need to reconsider their marketing strategy and remove 'Carp' from it's description, because the catfish fishermen may overlook it. Really, anything affiliated with carp fishing will put it in a lower class.

Very nice reel. Love the color and the way they looked. Super smooth and very quiet. I bought the 2nd one without even trying out the first one because I like them that much. Finally took them out last weekend catching 5 3.75 to 4 lbs take trout. The reels handle them like nothing. Both drag systems worked very well. Two of the fish took the bait and swam off and the bait runner drag was screaming that’s when I realized I had fish on. I got the size 5000 which are perfect size for those lake trout. Catching 10-20 lbs fish should be no problem. I love these reels but hopefully they’ll hold up.

I have 3 of these reels I bought for carp fishing. So far they have all performed admirably. They are smooth and quiet, the bait-feeder drag works well, the fighting drag handles big (20+ pounds) fish with no trouble. Lots of guys brag about their expensive reels, but these are working just great for me.

I absolutely love this reel. I have taken it all over the Caribbean. I lived in Belize on an island for a year and a half. I caught tarpon snook grouper flounder snapper and now I have it in Minnesota catching 25 lb 50 in tiger muskies.. the ease of cranking and the drag weight durability and the value for the money. This reel is very very smooth and the cast ability is ridiculous. I would recommend this to anybody..

Garbage broke on the second fish. Front drag doesn’t work. Missed my chance to return it so now I have paper weight. Stay away save your money and get a better one.

Purchased this reel because it was cheap but wasn't expecting much. Boy was I surprised. Very smooth reel and paired with a Fiblink rod it was one of the best combinations I have ever made for fishing whiting off of a pier.

I bought 3 reels and after 3 uses one of the reels anti reverse switch malfunctioned. The other 2 still are on great working condition. Wish I could get a replacement due to a possible defect.

Perfect size for 7'.6" spinning rod. Very durable for the big fish 20lb+ carp with no problems. Like the dual spools so I can use different weight line and very easy to switch ou.

It arrived quickly. I have used it a few times now and reeled in a few large trout with it. So far for the price it can't be beat.

So far so good. So far it is a joy to use. I have not yet played a fish with it which will be the reel test.

I do not recommend this product. After the second fishing the baitrunner stopped working.
