Title: Still Looks New After Thousands of Miles I originally purchased this luggage on September 28, 2022, and after nearly four years and thousands of miles of travel, I’m seriously impressed with how well it has held up. After countless airports, flights, hotels, and trips, it still looks and performs almost like it did when I bought it. The wheels still roll smoothly, the handle works perfectly, and the hard shell has handled the abuse of frequent travel extremely well. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and holds more than you’d expect for a carry-on. For the price, the durability and quality have exceeded my expectations. Nearly four years later, I’d absolutely buy it again. Easy 5 stars.

Durable and scratch resistant, stylish, easy to find bright color, spacious and highly functional, easy to maneuver wheels, and extremely inexpensive without sacrificing high quality. Stable and won't tilt while moving around, lots of pocket space, and able to lock the zippers together with your fav TSA compliant lock.

Great for people who aren't hard-core travelers. We only fly 1-2 times a year, max. This suitcase is perfect for what we need. Rolls great, love the color. Seems sturdy. Looks great. I don't care if it gets scratched, but the material seems strong. Lightweight and functional - I like it!

Good, tough suitcases with a really dumb design. They have survived several trips to Africa and all the abuse that entails so I really like the toughness. I really like them except for three dumb design issues: There is no lock (can’t prevent accidental unzipping), the case expansion is on the side of the case with the zip to seal portion, if you expand the case you have to stack you clothes on the opposite side and flip the case closed without knocking everything out of the case, and the handles are not tapered on the ends so they snag every other bag or trunk or anything else when you are storing or moving them.

Seriously fits so much! I love the color and it is incredibly durable. The handle easily goes up and down. Rolls very smoothly.

I bought this Amazon Basics hardshell suitcase for an upcoming trip to Cancun, and I’m really impressed with the quality for the price. Right out of the box, it feels solid and well-built. The hard shell has a durable feel without being overly heavy, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to stay within airline weight limits. The navy blue color also looks great—clean and easy to spot at baggage claim. The wheels roll smoothly and make it easy to maneuver, even when fully packed. The handle feels sturdy, and everything extends and retracts without any issues. Inside, the layout is simple but effective, with enough space and compartments to keep things organized. I also like the expandable feature—it gives you a little extra room when you need it, which is perfect for bringing stuff back from a trip. Overall, this is a great suitcase at a great price. It feels like something that will hold up well through travel, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one. Looking forward to putting some miles on it… hopefully it handles the trip as smoothly as it rolls.

Excellent excellent suitcase!! The reviews did not disappoint. I was a little worried that it's an amazon brand, but I am very impressed with the quality. It's also huge, sturdy and just a great suitcase! Even better than my more expensive suitcase that wasn't from amazon. Highly recommend!

I bought this in 2019 and I have used it extensively for air travel. It has served me well, but in October 2025 I have decided to replace it as it is beginning to fall apart and I don't want to get stuck on vacation with a non-functioning suitcase. The suitcase is pretty bare bones, but that's honestly just fine. The exterior shell is solid and has never cracked (though it does show some scraping). The suitcase handles are fine (EXCEPT the telescoping handle). I have been pretty pleased with this suitcase overall. However, it is starting to fall apart. The first problem is the telescoping handle. It is often reluctant to collapse all the way. This has been the case for several years and there has never been a time when I could not eventually collapse it. But if one day (as seems increasingly likely) the handle should refuse to collapse, then I would be in trouble. I'm not sure what an airline would do with a broken carry-on bag with a jammed, extended handle that would not fit an overhead bin but also could not be checked due to the same jammed handle. And while I am glad that I have been able to close this tricky telescoping handle for several years, the fact is that it has been a problem *for several years*. That is, it started not so long after I purchased the suitcase. Also, the exterior zippers are starting to jam. (See attached photo of the suitcase side and three "snag-points" on the zippers.) Like the tricky telescoping handle, I have always been able to get the bag to zip shut. But the jamming zippers are an increasing concern and I do not want to find myself on vacation far from home unable to close my suitcase. Finally, one of the zippers on the interior compartment has broken and the other is beginning to break. This is a simple case of cheap metal failing after a few years of use. I have traveled quite a bit with this suitcase. It has never failed me, though it is clear that it will soon and must be replaced. It is considerably cheaper than other suitcases and I suppose you get what you pay for. On the other hand, I don't really have a solid answer for how long a heavily-used suitcase should last. AI suggests that my six years with this bag are probably what one should expect. Sooooo . . . I'm giving this three stars. Not great, but good while it lasted.
