I buy this every 2 to 3 months depending how much i use and how many i buy in a month. But its a good immune system booster it will let u go poop no matter how much u try to hold it. I use this on my 2 year old cause she has rough big poops so this makes it soft like a stool softner . I recommend. But ask your dr or your child's dr before use so u know how much to give to yourself or to your child.

Excellent stimulating laxative. Used with our daughter who also had severe encopresis and fecal retention. Miralax was horrible for us (explosive, uncontrollable etc. at the large dosages she needed to see any improvement). The only downside which I didn't see anyone post on yet is that it's (sadly) only supposed to be a short-term solution. All of the pediatric specialists have emphasized that stimulating laxatives (which Senna is a kind of) become habit forming when taken for a long period of time. It's been 3 months that we've been using this product, but now are urged to gradually phase off of it and use lactulose instead and in conjunction with the high fiber diet.

This product really works for my son. He has constipation issues since he was 3 years old. He now 10 and it really works well He takes it every day. He like the taste as well. I have tried other senna laxatives that were more like a liquid but they did'nt work as well. I need the senna syrup it works better. I noticed it is out of stock right now. Hope it becomes available again. I would order it again. I am running out so I need more.

After using Miralax for years to deal with a child's case of encopresis, with extremely varied results, finally stumbled on this syrup. It is a MIRACLE WORKER. I would call it a cure. Highly recommended. Very effective, gentle. Takes around 12 hours to take effect; take right before bed. We mix a dose in with a tiny bit of milk, just like a little chocolate milk shot. Definitely will repurchase.

I for years have had to take the pill form but ran across this liquid and am very glad I did. The pills only occasionally worked. I started with 2 oz. and it works great. No more bloated feeling. Just add it to a drink before bedtime. I'll definetly be switching to this liquid.
