This is just the replacement for the topmost glass.
I needed to replace the screen of a broken iPad. I was disappointed to discover this was only for the top most glass. The LCD screen was not included, so beware before ordering this. You would have to separate the LCD screen from the touchscreen (this part) to use this item. This would be a delicate operation to perform without breaking the LCD screen. I have worked with many different screens and have seen the touchscreen being separate from the LCD, but this iPad is glued very securely together, making it impossible to replace only the touchscreen. Beware of what you are purchasing.
