Ich kann leider nichts zu der Schiene sagen, da mein Zahnarzt eine Knirschschine angefertigt hat! Diese hier sollte als Übergangslösung dienen, es kam jedoch nicht dazu, mein Zahnarzt war zu schnell!

Si modella egregiamente da soli in pochi passaggi ed è ottimo perché resta “su “ attaccato ai denti senza quel problema di doverlo “alzare” con la lingua.Inoltre non è mollo ma neanche duro e non da quella sensazione di aver in bocca qualcosa di “estraneo “.Approvato e gran risparmio rispetto a quello del dentista ( che ormai vecchio ma ce l’ho) e dal quale non ho trovato grandi differenze.Importante modellare bene la prima volta!!!

I’m surprised at the unfavourable reviews. I don’t usually bother with reviews, but this has been really helpful to stop me from further damaging my teeth due to grinding in the night. It’s comfortable to wear, easy to mold as long as you follow the instructions, and it almost clips onto my top teeth snugly with no movement. Very comfortable and soft, easy to sleep in, and incredible value for money compared to other mouth guards or getting one made at the dentists. It’s thick and good quality, highly recommended for those who grind their teeth overnight.

My dentist pointed out that my lower teeth were eroded and recommended fitting a mouth-guard for night time use. I was reluctant, thinking that my quality of sleep would suffer. On reflection and after some Internet searching I decided to informally try one. The OPRO model was inexpensive and offered a self-fitting system (so called boil and bite). The instructions were quite clear and easy to follow. The system includes a fitting cradle to hold the softened mouth guard and biting on the cradle/guard for a minute moulds the guard to the teeth. I fitted it to my lower jaw. This was rather uncomfortable and it's worth a few practice runs to get used to the process. However the end product was well-matched to the teeth. It's possible to repeat the heating and fitting if the first attempt does not feel optimum and I did this with no problems. I was quite surprised that the fit was quite comfortable with very little acclimatisation and I've been wearing it nightly for just over a week. There is some increased salivation but it does not disturb sleep. I found that a couple of sections impinged on my gums but their reduction with scissors improved that. I found this product a worthwhile aid in trying a mouthguard. I don't know as yet if a dentist fitted device would be an improvement, but I can appreciate the argument that even if it needed replacement more frequently, the cost is far lower than a dentist fitted device.
