Are these going to work for zumba on a wood floor or too slippery?

I just had wood flooring put in my apt. Bought these for the old carpet. Worked ok. Totally depends on the type of wood, carpet or rock your flooring has. I do martial arts on this new "fake" wood floor and I put these socks over my feet that have reg. socks on. No shoes. They are WAY better than the carpet was. Just saying. I would advise, buy a pair. And test. It isn't going to empty your bank hopefully.

Would buying a regular oversized sock that fits over my shoe be the same thing?

Sure, if it’s made of the same material. I used to use the feet of tights but these dance socks are made of thicker material and seem to hold up better. Plus these are sized and shaped to go over shoes whereas regular socks wouldn’t be. They stay on well too.

Will they fit over men shoes size 9 or 10?

Mine are over a ladies 8 1/2 sneaker. They are stretchy but I think they might rip due to the width of men's shoes and the length would possibly be too much.

Could these be used as a slide board booty? Thanks!

Don't know what that is. I know they can be used for dancing on carpet and not sticking
