I must admit that I did not take much notice of the dimensions of these lights when I purchased them. On arrival the package was small and I thought they had only supplied one unit. I was wrong. These lights are small and the two units as promised were in the box. No assembly required and they are charged and working straight out of the box. No batteries needed as they charge via USB with a supplied cable. When charging an amber light shows in the name logo and goes out when fully charged. There are three settings. Off. On and Automatic. The light brightness has two settings and is achieved by pressing the round button. Low and High are available. Set the light to automatic and the sensor in the front will pick up movement and switch the light on. It goes out after 30 seconds or so. They are very useful. I have one in the bathroom and one in a cupboard. They maybe small but the light is more than enough. They have a simple magnet fitting. Stick the magnet where you want the light and the unit mounts neatly to the magnet. Easily removable for charging. They look great on the wall and are small enough not to be noticed.

Oh, these are good! In my mum’s house, you have to walk the length of the kitchen from the dining room to get to the light switch, and that’s a good few steps in the pitch black. She had a couple of episodes where she panicked, as she was worried about tripping over something on the floor, so I set up a light that triggers as soon as she steps into the kitchen, and they work perfectly. The lights are small, sturdy, and look good. The light is warm, and although they don’t fill the room with light, it’s enough to get your bearings and to know that the floor is clear. You can set them up to be on, off, or motion triggered. Once triggered they stay on for about a minute, unless further movement is detected, which is perfect. They can stand alone, or they're light enough to be mounted on a magnetic plate. My lights arrived with some charge, and I always take that to be a good sign, as they’ve held onto that charge from the factory. It is suggested that they will last for 180 days on the motion trigger setting, and you can’t argue with that. They arrive with a cable and they’re easy to charge. Great value for money and happy to recommend.

Clever little lights that are super cute and practical! Importantly small and neat so not obtrusive. The design is great. I have now put these up every 4 treads on my stairs and I find that it is not only an effective and efficient stair light it means no need to immediately put on the lights when dark. Friends have complimented on them and I have had to share the link, they find them as great as I do. The charge seems to last a long time and recharging is easy and quick. So successful that I bought some for my granddaughter’s room for when they visit - no need to put on the lights for nappy changes or quick loo visits! Perfect. Handy hint: attach to wall with blue tac initially to make sure you have them positioned in the right place. When that is confirmed you can add the wall magnet, the lights are easily remove for er-charging or if you need to clean/paint. Top marks and highly recommend.

When I first received these, I honestly thought, is this a joke? The box it came in was so small, and then I saw how tiny the actual light module was, so I wasn't expecting much. However, once I installed it and saw how effective it actually is for its size, I was genuinely impressed. The light is surprisingly bright, the motion sensor works really well, and it's perfect for lighting up small areas. I was impressed enough that I actually ordered another pair! The only reason I've deducted one star is because they still use Micro USB rather than USB-C. I know they come with a charging cable, but USB-C would be much more convenient, especially with most modern products using USB-C now. Overall, brilliant little lights and definitely worth buying!

These small unobtrusive lights cast just enough light so that you can see your way at night without putting the lights on. There's not so much light that you are blinded, but enough to see your way. I bought quite a few more, put three in my 92 year old mum's hallway and she loves them. The PIR sensor has good coverage and is just the right sensitivity. I put mine at low level so they illuminate the floor, but they still see me coming in plenty of time. They stay lit if they see movement otherwise go off in about 40 seconds or so. I try to remember to recharge mine every 6 months, they are easy and quick to charge and last for many months. I now have about 10 of these, mostly on my nightime route to the bathroom, and at the top of the stairs so no-one falls down them in the dark. Controls are an on/off/auto slide switch and a latching button for high/low light. I only ever use low light setting, it's more than adequate for moving around at night, with a good wide light distribution. Very useful little things, so much so I take a couple on holiday.

Brilliant little lights, small but bright & look really nice. We use one at the top and one one at the bottom of our stairs for our dogs to go downstairs safely if they go on walkabouts during the night. It saves us leaving a hall light on. The sensors work brilliantly and they stay on long enough for them or us to get down the stairs safely. Can't comment on the charge yet, but they have lasted 2 weeks so far with the charge that they arrived with. Definitely recommend.

Much better than I thought. I bought them for my stairs so not to disturb others by putting landing light on. They are great - sensitive on auto that switch off in 20 seconds give great illumination. Charger lets you charge 4 at a time. Came next day. Will buy again for other dark spots like cupboards.

This arrived on Jan 30. I charged the one device full in a couple of hours and turned it on. It's now March 12 and still going strong. I've placed this on a short staircase that could use a little light when going down in the dark so I don't have to turn on the light. It senses motion well in the dark and turns itself on. It has a wide-angle sensor and I've never come near it without it turning on. Now, regarding some comments about brightness. In a dark room, a little light goes a long way. What do you expect, a floodlight? This is not what this is for! If you have an area, such as a staircase, where some footlights in the dark would be helpful (not to mention be safe) these can be placed anywhere. They are small enough that you could even put them on the stair step itself along the wall (who's going to trip on a small object placed next to the wall?). They are perfect for those kinds of environments like stairs where there is usually no outlets. Next, a comment that many people have made about the lousy sticky tape to attach the metal plate to the wall so you can then attach the magnetized light to it. Many commented that it'll ruin the wall and rip the paint or wallpaper off. Don't use it then. Why risk it? I have a railing going down the stairs and I attached a nearly-invisible nylon filament to the light and hung it on the posts that secure the railing to the wall. All you see is the little light and it lights up as you pass by. If you are concerned with a Better Homes and Gardens image, then hire an electrician to install multiple outlets a/o a lighting system. If not, these lights will do just fine. I absolutely recommend these little guys for placement in areas where you need a little light and there's no outlet. I think they are excellent for placing along stairs or in bathrooms or perhaps closets where you just want some light without having to bother turning a light on - or, don't have a light. I'm impressed by the battery life. UPDATE SEPT 2, 2024: These lights are STILL working on the SINGLE, two-hour charge on Jan 30, 2024. That's SEVEN MONTHS of continuous use (not continuously ON but continuous motion sensing and turning on when anyone passes by, which is scores of times a day).... still going strong! UPDATE NOV 3, 2924: The light FINALLY went out and it needed to be recharged. That's NINE MONTHS of constant use on a single, 2 hour charge on Jan 30, 2024! Outstanding! These things work, they work well, and they work for a long time. Excellent product!

Works well and nice to have in dark areas without having to use an outlet.

We didn't use the motion detection on them but had them on the dimmer setting. We used them on a cruise we just took. They have a magnet on the back so stuck to the metal walls of our room perfectly. We left it on all night on the dimmer setting so we could see to move around if we got up in the middle of the night. We had them both with us fully charged but only used one and it lasted all 7 nights without recharging. Not sure now much longer it would last. But it's awesome. Well worth the investment! Thanks!

These were purchased after another brand did not work out so well for us. As others have noted, they are small. But they put out plenty of light. We are using them in a shared bathroom where turning on the main lights would be a problem. The adjustable brightness works well -- we use them on the lower setting and it's just right for a night light. The color is soft white, not the glaring blueish-white of some LEDs. The motion detection is quite sensitive -- they will detect motion at 8 to 10 feet even off to the side. They stay on for 20 seconds with no activity, but will re-trigger and continue to stay on if there is any motion in their detection zone. Other lights did not do this. Another reviewer complained about a failed charge cable and thought it was proprietary. It's not -- it is a standard micro-USB cable. The battery life seems quite good so far -- over a month on the first charge. The magnetic mount is nice. Only minor complain is they will turn on (or stay on) if there is what I would consider adequate ambient lighting. I was initially concerned that might needlessly reduce battery life, but so far it's not a problem. Can't comment yet on long-term battery or other life. Will update if it's a problem. Overall: Recommended. Update 10/30/23: I used one of these lights on the Auto-On mode for well over a month without recharging. Out of curiosity, I charged both and set one to the On position, with the intensity switch in the lower light position, i.e. on continuously. After 4 days of continuous use, that light was starting to be noticeably dimmer than the unused light, but it was still more than adequate to provide some illumination in a dark bathroom or hallway. That's 96 hours of continuous lighting on one charge (on low light setting) -- and still going, like the Energizer Bunny. Pretty impressive. In addition to being very good night lights, I have found that they come in handy when working in tight spaces -- under a dashboard, in an engine compartment, in a refrigerator (don't ask...). The magnetic mount lets you position them easily, on the high setting they are relatively bright, and will often fit where other lights won't. Now that I know they will last for hours, it is kind of fun finding new uses for these. Definitely recommended.
