Can it be used for goslings?

I think it would be okay for any type of fowl.

Can I use a metal waterer?

This is just an electrolyte solution. I’ve never heard of something like that having any problem being consumed from a metal cup or watered. In fact, my water bottle was one of those plastic ones with a metal bottom where they drink. No problem.

Does this product affect the quality of the eggs?

It is designed to help chicken (or chicks) with electrolytes and probiotics, especially in hot weather. The chicken will be healthier, thus eggs better. If you want need calcium for the shell strength. I would suggest adding human quality powdered calcium to food.

When I order this item, how far out will the expiration date be?

I ordered mine in April 2019, the packet says the manufacture date is 11/28/18 and that it is best if used within 24 months.
