Smart Pots 10-Gallon Smart Pot Soft-Sided Container, Black with Cut Handles

My wife and I just started gardening and we were looking for something to get us into the whole gardening scene. We're city people but have a lot of sunshine in our small yard. We didn't have a car or the time to go to a Home Depot to buy a heavy pot. Instead we found these "insta-pots" and they work wonderfully. - We can move them easily with the built-in handles. - They are actually fairly durable and tough. - They come in lots of sizes, we bought the 10-Gallon and then a few smaller ones for other herbs we have started growing. - Wait, did I say they were cheap?!?!? They are! They don't look like much when you get them in the mail, but fill them with some great soil and seed and you'll be off and growing quick!

The best thing ever!!! Grew 20 plus tomatoes in these. No worry with drainage. Movable. Great quality. I will use again

I've experimented with Smart Pots this year, and have decided that for some uses (like sitting on concrete in the driveway in Texas in the summer) it is prone to drying out. But the pots themselves are sturdy and easy to move (without fear the handles will tear). I decided to try this after a volunteer gig at the Fort Worth Botanical Garden when we were transplanting a bunch of nursery-sourced trees from the black plastic pots into a good planting medium and tall smart pots. If the Botanic Garden likes them, I like them.

I got the 10 gallon up from the 5 gallon and I think 10 is the perfect size to keep plants manageable and the pot heavy enough so it doesn't topple over in the wind. I like the handle feature. Moisture is easily controlled. Root health is excellent. Smart pots are the way to go!

Very basic, but does the trick. My basil that I used it for is huge and happy, and has proven to really like this planter. It's a bit floppy (obviously), and not for looks, but not horrible looking, and works amazingly. It's also very easy to move. All in all, I'm buying another.

I garden in containers for tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, lettuce, spinach. My ground soil is all clay. My plants are so happy in these containers. No drying out like the old plastic pots I used to use. These are also easy to move around the deck area by pulling on the handles-which are still intact after multiple moves. Have re-used pots for 3 years. Purchased additional this year to finally be done with the plastic pots. Need a tray to sit under the pot if using on decking. I will buy again.

Will use for pumpkins. Very light and easy to put in place. When filled with dirt, will d o the job nicely.

Used this last year for the first time. Planted a "Big Beef" tomato and was stunned how quickly it grew. I planted it a few week after planting a few others in Earthbox-style self watering planters, and this one ought up in no time. Left it outside over the winter and it looked to be in perfect condition. The handles are a nice touch. Bought two more this year.

There's no going back!

Great product. Holds moisture and my plants are doing great. Bought the 10 gallon and am excited for it to arrive. :)

SO EXPENSIVE, NOT 5 ONLY 1 SMART POT. Didn’t realize till I received only 1 smart pot which cost as mush as 5. Couldn’t find quantity anywhere in the item description. I had to check the item quantity in the delivery description after arrival. Beware
