Worked on 2007 Pontiac Vibe, FWD, Front pads
Quality pads, pre-broken in. Mix of semi-metalic so I'm hoping it works a bit better than than pure ceramic on my wife's car. At 125K I purchased drilled and slotted rotors which came with ceramic pads. After about 10K miles the car started 'chugging' when stopping. Warped brake rotor type symptoms. I tried to burn off some glaze by dragging brakes for a mile and then some hard stops but it didnt really work better. Got 'free' replacement rotors with $31 shipping. Bought these brakes to try something better. Looking at the old rotors they dont look bad at all , pads either. So I kept both as spares if we put another 75K on the Vibe they might go back on (I hope not) . I was not real happy with the caliper slider pin grease when I did the rebuild this time so I scraped out all old grease and flushed with cleaner and repacked with pin grease. MAYBE that was the real problem. Please clean your pins and repack with proper slide lube. After one day of use the results are positive. I will update if I change my mind ever on these pads but they seem to be good. Came with stainless glide sheet metal and fit exactly right. I didnt need to grind the ears any which happens sometimes on cheap pads. These are four identical pads, with no wear indictor squeakers if that matters to you.

Smooth, quiet, all around great pads!
Ok... So I normally wouldn't write a review on brake pads.. but .. I normally purchase pads from Advance auto. Wagner thermoquiet ceramic.. My last were either the Wearever or Carquest ceramic, as I needed them quickly and that's what was in stock.. 3 months into it, brakes are chattering and pulsating(rotors were resurfaced also).. I bought a new set of rotors, and decided I would go with the Raybestos, as Advanced again didn't have what I wanted.. Needless to say, these are the best pads I've ever had on my car!! It has 460k miles on it, and these things are smooth and stop great! I think they'll be going on all of my cars from here on out. I highly recommended!

Great product - good price too.
I’m not really a mechanic - that much is certain. However, I do try to do things so I can to save a few dollars. I ordered these with with the idea to install them myself. That didn’t happen but I did find a person who would install them for me but since I purchased these at a great price I saved money on parts. Plus they are a known quality brand so I was confident in ordering them. If you need brakes then these are a great option.

So far so good
After reading reviews of other’s concerning squeaking and noisy operation, simply apply “disc brake quiet” solution to the back of each pad while installing. Do this for any makers pads. No issues. These pads do stop better than OEM. Beware that metallic pads will also consume your rotors at a greater rate.

2005 corolla
Got this last month and I installed it myself. Very easy to install as long as you have a compression tool for the piston to expand back for the new pads. Its been a month now and works great, no squeaking noise as long as you apply some brake grease on the back parts that touches the piston. I recommend it. Worth it for the price.
