Orbital Sander Pad Replacement for Dewalt, 2 Pack

Fits as advertised. Debris holes match the original pad for sandpaper fitment. So far, good replacements for my sander at a fraction of the OEM DeWalt. I got a 2-pack for less than the $ of 1 DeWalt replacement. Time will tell if they hold up like the original pad.

Great replacement pads, although the original had a metal backing plate and these are plastic. I removed my old metal plate and added it to these just for piece of mind. They may be fine without it though. One reviewer said these are not "cushioned" like the originals. That is false! These are cushioned, but with a slightly stiffer cushion, which in my opinion, may be an improvement. The reason my original pad failed was the cushion was too soft and eventually disintegrated. I don't think that will happen with these. This cushion seems much more durable! My only concern is the plastic backing, but I think if you remove the metal plate from the original, scrape what is left of the old pad off, and mount it between the sander and this disk you will have a superior pad from the original. I have used it and it works perfectly for me. I am well pleased!

Perfect fit, easy to install

I purchased the Gnellkoor replacement hook and loop pads for my Dewalt 5 inch orbital sander. The original Dewalt hook and loop pad had worn out and would not hold sand paper disks. The Gnellkoor pads fit perfectly and securely hold sandpaper disks. Potential buyers should be aware that the Gnellkoor hook and loop pads have a plastic backing plate. The original Dewalt pad has a steel backing plate. Time will tell which wears out first on the Gnellkoor pads, the plastic backing plate or the hooks and loops.

Great replacement part got it fast and better than what it originally came with, and that was a foam base which dry rotted over time….

Unfortunately after less than an hour of use the plastic backing around the 4 screws broke and the sander pad tore up the housing on my dewalt circular sander. So a $13 dollar fix ended up being a $99 purchase of a new sander. And yes if your thinking did I mount it correctly I absolutely did. I checked it twice when I installed the replacement disk. Unfortunate circumstances. It was a bummer to say the least.
