Zoo Med Floating Betta Log

I just received the floating log on March 19, 26 and Coco my pink/light blue Betta is already lounging in it. It floats nicely it stays on the edge of the glass so you can see your Betta in there happy with himself. And there is a feeding hole that you can drop the flakes in. I don't see any problems with it. I may order 2 more for my other Bettas.

my betta was suspicious at first but within the week was using it all the time! he sleeps in there now and i love him :) bought it as a christmas gift to my fish lol it looks enough like wood that it doesnt disturb the natural planted look of my tank, either.

This was kind of high priced but, ok as I love my little Betta boy! Customers need to make sure the surface you attach it to is dry. I installed this when I did my gallon water change and maintenance. Use large flat suction cups not the small ones as I attached a airline T adapter into the hole of the side of the log and fastened a short piece of airline hose to the T adapter and the log to make it stable as water flow will push the log off .My boy loves his house!

This log continuously floats and has a slight rough texture to be realistic. It’s small enough for my betta to sit in and I used the hole at the top for feedings. I went ahead and bought another one for my other fish tank because I liked it so much.

So far, so good. My betta seems to really love this log for a hiding spot. It didn't take any time for him to look up through the feeding hole to start watching for food! Update: This product does peel off and may be getting junk in my betta's tank.

This is so nice for the betta fish to just relax in a confined space for awhile to rest their fins. I got another for my second fish and he immediately put it to use. Sometimes they like to get away from the aquarium light too. Just all around good purchase for them in my 5 gallon tank. These rounds float on top, and that’s wonderful for these air breathers. They will swim out of them so you can still enjoy seeing their little beautiful gem bodies. Great treat for you and your fish!

I bought the Zoo Med floating log for my Betta, but it quickly became the most popular spot in the tank. Both my Betta and my mystery snail take turns squeezing inside, and sometimes they even try to claim it at the same time. The opening is just the right size for small fish, and the top feeder hole turns it into a little floating buffet — food stays contained, and my shrimps, snail and betta know exactly where to find it. It’s held up well so far and stays afloat without any issues. I’m honestly considering getting a second one so they don’t have to compete for it.

With in 10 sec my Betta start using this log.

Good just as aspected

It looks so good floating in the tank. Doesn't look fake at all. My betta loves it and so does my amano shrimps. Really recommend it if you have bettas.

Previously I'd purchased the Betta cave that sits on the bottom of the tank, however my little guy was unimpressed by it. That's probably because it's too deep and dark for him, without a hole on the top for him to easily come up for air. He investigated that for about three minutes and has ignored it ever since. This log is a different story. Much better suited to Betta fish, this floats near the surface with a feeding hole on that also acts as an air hole, allowing him to get air on the surface without leaving the log. Being open ended it also allows him to get a bit of respite and a break from the light in the aquarium without being pitch black. The log has been in the tank for a couple of hours and my Betta has been absolutely fascinated by it, exploring it inside and out, and now resting in it. I'll try and feed him via it going forward, but it doesn't look like he needs any encouragement to use it! I have it in my 30 litre aquarium. If you have anything smaller it may be a bit too big and take up too much space. It also floats freely. I have it at the back of the tank against one of my heaters, which stops it from floating about all over the place.

At first my betta loved it so much after a while i noticed his fins are thinning!! I thought it was fin rot and started treating him only to find out it was his log cutting his fins… i sanded it and all good now. انتبهوا قطعت زعانف سمكتي صنفروها زين اول .
