Off the Wall Toys Alien Glow-in-The-Dark UFO Space Ship and Bendable Action Figure Toy

This toy is legit. Perfect kitschy alien aesthetic and a little functional too. The dome pops out easily to remove the perfectly bendy glow-in-the-dark alien. The dots around the edge of the saucer glow too, though not as brightly. But the effect is great. My only concern is that the landing gear doesn’t seem attached super securely, like they might break off if handled too roughly. But, they are a little bendy so that absorbs a little. Overall, probably not the greatest for rougher play, but a good toy nonetheless. And it made an excellent cake topper. When my soon-to-be 6yo switched up his requested birthday theme at the last minute and wanted “AAALIENZZ” I was hard pressed to find items for the cake and decorations that were just right - not too scary, or baby-ish. But when I found this flying saucer I knew I had found a winner. He loves it and it was a big hit with the adults at the party too.

The simplicity and quality of hank surprised me. I never imagined that such a “medium” little star traveler would be the thing I needed. I plan to mount him and his ship right in mine (the car). The glow on this item surprised me, it is much stronger than the average cheap plastic you see these days. Great item for a very cheap value, I recommend this item for any occasion. A birthday or Christmas gift, surprise mom on Mother’s Day, sit him next to a night light. You decide. OR, just Slip him on someone’s wedding cake when no one is looking, because that’s what hero’s do.

This is a unique toy that is not great quality but for the novelty of alien lovers it's a good addition to any collection. I did like in other reviews to use it as a cake topper. I think that's a perfect use for it as well.

Work for what I wanted

My grandson loved it but the alien is very small and the plastic that goes over the alien wouldn't click down.

If you have a penchant for aliens or UFO's, if you want to believe, then this is the gift for you! Purchased for my adult daughter and the box alone was worth it - complete with back story for the named alien within. We laughed so hard! You won't be disappointed, it's great!

Five stars. Is it worth the dough? Oh heck no, but buy it anyway. Skip a couple overpriced coffees and you won't feel a thing. More for adults than kids; way cute and looks good on any workstation or desk. Mine is parked next to the thumbs-up Jesus and robot parakeet (photo attached; the Zippo is for scale). As I said, more for grownup kids than the little ones; li'l Spanky will likely break it or lose key small parts pretty quickly if it becomes an everyday play-toy. I love this little thing.
