YuanKanJu 5 Inch Solid Wood Block Cube - 1 Block

I bought this to make a replica of a child's building block. After sanding the edges, I used chalk paint to age the block. I then cut family pictures in different shapes and attached to the sides of the block. The block was very easy with which to work and turned out well.

Exactly what I needed without having a wood shop.

This is a 4 element composite block . It is not a one single piece wood block. If you plan to carve a statue it will have 3 colors and wood vain types.

while it is as advertised, a wood block cube, and has a sanded even surface, mine had a number if dings, dents, deep scratches. corners and edges were beaten in. if i were to use it, it would need to be filled with putty, sanded down or planed. all things i was wanting not to do since i don't have access to a wood shop. if you're looking for a finished wood block, this is not it.
