The cable itself functions really well, providing reliable charging for my devices. However, there are a couple of minor issues that detract from its overall usability. Firstly, the glue holding the magnet in place is not as strong as the magnet itself. This has resulted in the magnet detaching from the cable. This is the perfect tool to use as a backup mobile / emergency charging cable. Yes it is short, just short enough so if you are using a pocket powerbank, you can hold the device and powerbank together and use the cable without anything getting in the way. Then you can slip both devices in a pocket or a pouch without taking up any room. There is no other device that does this so perfectly on the market right now. It is robust and can handle 100W charging. The entire cable feels good in hand; the cable is also very meaty and feels like kevlar. Of course you will not like it if you are trying to use it like a primary 1m cable to use your phone while charging from a wall....

You *MUST* get one of these along with every power bank you buy. The only thing it's missing is a USB Mini, so you'll need to get one of those short USB-C to USB-Mini converter cables. Keep it in the same Maxpedition case as the power brick and you'll be a hero whenever you hear somebody curse their phone 'cause it's out of juice.

There are a million USB cables out there, and almost all of them will "charge" your devices when plugged in. However, your phone/computer will show as charging regardless of if it gets 1w or 100w. Many cables I've tested are constructed so poorly as to barely charge the devices and generally be more ewaste than useful cable. This is not that cable. It works as advertised, or at least as far as I can get it to go. I've tested it up to 66watts of charging with a MacBook. Realistically the cable is more designed for charging your phone or Airpods, which it also does just perfectly. The 6-in-1 functionality is fantastic because regardless of if you have an iPhone 15 or and iPhone 10... you can charge with this cable. You can also charge all your Android phones (USB-C), including the old ones using MicroUSB. Yes, the "lightning" port does work as a MicroUSB which I tested on a Kindle. Super compact, easy to pocket and carry with you. About the only "complaint" I have with the cable is that it doesn't come in more colors. Red please!

Got this because it was recommended by many EDC YouTubers and I had a some extra money to spare. As the title states it's nice and small, but robust, except for the plastic in the head pieces, but you shouldn't be yanking it off hard enought to break it anyways so it shouldn't be an issue. Fits great in my pouch without taking too much space. I've come into a few situations where friends of mine have needed to charge their phone and the multiple charging options came in handy. Is it a must have? No, but if you have some extra cash it's really convenient and goes great with a power bank in your backpack.
