These lights are absolutely outstanding. Anyone who pays big dollars for Chauvet and other big name brands is throwing their money away. I bought a case to go with the pair I bought. They work as intended.

First of all I would like everyone to know Im a 20 year musician now going solo in the DJ business. I know very little about lighting and dmx and am continously learning. Based on reviews and pricing on these moving head lights I felt secure about making a purchase on 2 moving heads to add to my small lighting setup. Best investment for a begginer or a small to medium size setup. For what I need, perfect. However, one of the two lights was a little defective and seemed to have an obstruction on the beam feature. Prisms and gobos however worked great. Amazon directed me to the seller who not only made the process as easy and simple as possible but had a replacement light for me within a few days. Over all im very happy with the service and product that I received. Hope you all experience the same.

This is a decent moving-head light, provided you’re looking specifically for a tight, in-air beam effect. The projection angle is extremely narrow, resulting in high brightness but very limited coverage. You’ll definitely want to use fog/haze with this fixture, and multiple units will be needed for optimal results. This isn’t the most versatile light, but it can look great in fast-paced, high-energy shows. For those wanting simple operation, fully-automatic and sound-activated modes are available, although the built-in program is somewhat repetitive (semi-randomly cycling through maybe a dozen or so looks). Thankfully, the preset show doesn’t overuse strobing effects, which is a common fault of many entry-level lights. For advanced users, the light is best operated via DMX from a moving-light board/console. The fixture behaves well under DMX, with 16 channels providing full control over the unit’s functions. The main lamp and front LED ring have independent dim/strobe/effect parameters, so you can really dial in the exact look you want. Movement is smooth and fast, with the unit completing a 540° pan in 2s and full tilt in about 1.25s. Note that the tilt is advertised as 270°, but the controllable range is only 220°. The fixture employs a 150W white LED for the main beam, along with a ring of low-power RGB for audience-facing effects. I measured a full-open beam angle of 2.5°, which widens to about 8° while the prism is activated. It’s worth mentioning that my unit came with an 8-facet prism, and not the 6+12 version described and pictured in the product listing (as of writing this review). The gobo wheel includes two beam reducers, but there’s no zoom, so a wider-angle projection isn’t possible. The fixture’s build quality is mediocre, as my unit came with minor issues. Certain pan movements produce an audible clunk, due to a part collision in the pan limiter assembly (bad design). My light also squeals during large/fast pans (insufficient lubrication at factory), and one of the cooling fans has a noisy/rattling bearing (cheap components). Position encoders ensure that the light still hits its marks, and I can find ways to address some of the problems, but at this price, I expect better out-of-box quality. Overall, this light squeaks into a 4-star rating, but it’s borderline 3-stars due to the quality issues and inaccurate prism/tilt specifications. The fixture produces a bright and tight beam, but the omission of zoom limits its versatility.

I’ve used several other No-name moving lights but these are working out great so far. Full color pallet, great when using with DMX programming, solid functions, great gobos, and the beams are solid as well as the prisms. If these hold up for a few more months on day to day usage, we will be purchasing more.

You cannot go wrong with this light. It looks amazing, the light show it has will take any event to the next level. If you are looking to buy it for your business you won’t be disappointed. This light has been fantastic for stage shows and lighting up a studio. It is incredibly bright and the lights all work perfectly. I often host musical guests in a studio for my work and the ambiance is everything, so having a professional-looking light is key and this one certainly hits that mark. Not only is the exterior shell really high-quality being that it is heavy and not “plasticky”, but the lights are also reliable, vibrant, and can change color on command. I love that there is a variety of color options here and all of them are very true to themselves (the orange looks orange, not like red-orange or yellow-orange, etc.), but I have to say that I was a bit disappointed that this didn’t come with a remote or color wheel. It seems like many others on the market have remote and many different color options to choose from on a gradient, but this one was fixed. Additionally, the battery life for this is pretty decent. I charged it up overnight and it worked really well for about the next week when I was using it for about 2 hours at a time, on and off. This is pretty impressive as the light stayed just as vibrant and bright as it had when the battery was fully charged. This speaks to the longevity of the device even though I see some comments saying it died pretty soon (hopefully that was just a faulty product and a one-off thing). Overall, I like this light. I think it is great for anyone in a small space that wants an impressive and bright feature to liven up their space, but you should be aware that there are certain limitations, especially when it comes to color.
