Does it come with instructions for installation? And does the product hold your cell phone securely while driving?

Yes it does come instructions. It installs as described. The device that holds the phone seems to work well. However I have an iPhone14 and the clamps hit the volume buttons which is a problem. I had another similar holder which worked for the 14 so I swapped it in and it has been working fine.

Does this include the plastic pry tool, that is shown in the video and is needed to pop out the dash trim piece?
