My last magnifier didn't have a light. This models light has come in handier than I had ever thought it could. It's also way heavier than the non-lighted types. The 3 aaa batteries in the handle make it heavy. NOT RECOMMENDED FORTHE VERY ELDERLY OR HAND ARM DISABLED. I do love the folding handle though! As I now carry it from room to room in my pocket. I also purchased this model for it's rectangle shape, so I can read with both eyes. No more squinting!

I bought one of these for myself to help wth reading tiny printed instructions and books due to my presbyopia. I was happy enough with it that I just ordered a second one for my father. I like that it has two light levels and uses three AAA batteries, so they don't need to be changed very often. The lens is not genuine glass, but it is a very tough, scratch-resistant, and easily cleanable plastic. I also like the folding handle. It allows it to fit in a pocket and then open up, making it easy to hold. When opened, it clicks into place and securely holds the lens in place. For $14 + tax, it's a great deal, and if you're looking for a magnifying glass, especially for reading small print, this is a good one to get. I am pleased with its performance and user-friendly design.

I'm pretty happy with this. It's not top quality but very satisfactory. It's clear and has 3 light settings which I think is a nice feature. It's a good size and comes pretty close to magnifying the full amount of an 8.5" width of paper. It is plastic but decent quality. I think I'd buy it again if needed.... maybe a gift for my husband!🤣

Very useful. Words are bigger and the brightness is perfect for my reading. Love the handle. New York Times print has gotten smaller and I couldn’t read (literally) the fine print….but now I can!

My mother loves this. Easy to hold. Light is bright. Magnification clear. Helps her to read. She also finds humorous that her children could not turn it on, as the switch is quite discrete yet easy to access.

It magnifies the text clearly and nicely, the light has 3 settings (bright white, warm, and a combination of those) and it is not too heavy. The adjustable handle and rectangle shape makes it easy to hold over your text, and you can see a large portion of the page at one time. I can use this instead of wearing my reading glasses. I am very happy with this product, and I would recommend it!

I'd give it 5 stars except the battery in the handle make it heavy. That's my fault as I opted for batteries. I recommend the USB models.

This is a great item ,however great if you're right handed,but awkward if you are left handed,also Handel can be a bit awkward to fold.
