Brush kit is worth every penny...
Used this brush kit to clean out 16 years of lint build up from our dryer vent. I was amazed as to how much lint (2 a grocery bag full of crap...) had been trapped over the years. It was a fire hazard waiting to happen. I picked this kit as it came with the snap in connectors on the extension pulls vs the screw on type. Always afraid that the screw on version would come loose and create more problems getting stuck inside the vent during cleaning. The brush head was of good size and pulled the crud out with ease. Just jam the brush head and pull in and out along the side vent walls for a good scrubbing. Have a shop vac handy and trash bag next to you to simply cleaning. Our dryer now takes up less to dry a batch of clothes. I wish I had done this a lot sooner. :)Pro tip -+ If your dryer vent is longer than a couple of feet, clean from inside vent and suction any lint and proceed to work on outside exhaust working inward as well to ensure thorough cleaning.+ Duck tape a fine mesh bag on the vent exhaust to catch any debris and use the shop vac hose from the inside and blow all the crud out at the very end. You will find some remnant lint still trapped so a good blow of the shop vac will take care of anything remaining. If you don't use a mesh bag, be ready to walk around the outside to pick up scattered lint.+Wear some old clothes. It is a messy job.Overall, I am very happy the purchase.

Works very well on long straight runs
Works very well for long straight runs from outside the house heading back towards the dryer. Will go around a 90 deg bend but don't expect it to go around multiple bends like the setup in my Father's house - that is just expecting too much. Long reaches from inside the house are awkward because you have up to 20 feet of rod waving around - works best if you keep adding sections as you work further into the duct. Rods snap together very well, a little bit hard to separate them again, really need three hands.Did a great job of getting damp matted fiber out of our vent duct - and the amount of stuff it pulled out was kind of amazing and kind of disgusting at the same time. Nice knowing that the duct is clean and the dryer is working much less time now to dry a load of towels or sheets.

Works great, make certain you measure distance to clean
This thing worked phenomenally well at cleaning out the dryer vent that runs up to our roof. I have run other cleaning brushes through manually on prior occasions and thought I had done a decent job cleaning the lint out. I was wrong. I don't think the vent tube has been this clean since it was new. Dryer works more efficiently, clothes get dry faster, life is good. One word of caution, measure your distance well. I eyeballed mine and ended up shoving an extra section into the pipe which knocked the pipe loose from the roof connector. No damage since the cleaning rod sections are super flexible, just an embarrassing trip to the crawl space to reconnect the pipe at the vent assembly.

Great product!
Just used the kit this past week and I am surprised at how well it worked. We got so much lint out of the duct work. I thought it was very easy to use, put together and take apart and seemed like a quality product. Didn't break apart. We have about 16 more feet to clean out so I went ahead and bought another kit. I highly recommend this product. Not only does it work well, it is actually really fun to see all of the this lint shoot out of the duct.

It Helped
Having this tool helped me clean out a fairly long dryer vent. Using the drill is tricky. You've got to go really slow. I also just shoved it in manually and pulled it back and forth. What helped the most was when I took my Ego blower (that I use with my yard work) and put it over the dryer vent hole in the laundry room and turned it on full blast. Where the blower meets the floor, I wrapped a wet towel around it to seal the hole so I wouldn't get any blowback. My blower is really powerful and it blew wads of lent on the back porch where the dryer vent exits the house. But it helped having the REALFLO tool to break it up and loosen it from the walls of the vent tubing.

Outstanding, indispensible for safety and saving money
We bought a house with an internal dryer vent going about 18 feet up to the roof. I called around: Pricing was $250-$300 to clear out the vent. No way for something I'm planning to do twice a year.Bought one of these, tried it, works great. I ran through once with each of the two included brushes. Note that I do have a straight pipe, with the end the dryer attaches to pointing straight down.To get rid of the finest dust still lining the vent, I attached an elbow joint to the inside end of the pipe and placed the nozzle of my leaf-blower into it, only getting up to about half-power. The vent is now as clean as new.

Not sturdy
Brushes disconnected in dryer vent and had to be dug out. Returned and hired a professional best $100 spent. Dryer runs like new now.

Good Home Owner Tool
Admittedly you are not going to use this very often but the first time you do you may be surprised how much lint it removes. I'll bet the house we bought had not been cleaned in at least 20 years. Easy to connect the pieces together. Set your drill to low and use a low screw stop setting. Rods are indeed very flexible and can make 90 degree turns with ease. My vent had multiple 90 and 45 degree turns. No problems. Until I hit a blockage about 12 feet in at a 90 elbow. Could not access the vent from its roof exhaust location. Removed all I could prior to this elbow. If this happens to you check YouTube for examples of using a yard leaf blower. I was skeptical and worried about potentially making the blockage worse by compaction but WOW it worked great for me. Then, I had a mess on the roof I had to clean up.
