If I have previously colored my hair (light brown with golden tones) and then I put in blonde highlights after the fact..... what will a toner do?

Our Wella Color Charm Liquid Permanent Toner in shade T35 Beige Blonde requires hair to be pre-lightened to a gold shade and is not made to tone orange or brown hair. Our Color Charm Liquid Permanent Toners are made to be mixed with Wella Color Charm 20 Volume Developer to open the hair cuticle and make the toning result permanent. Our Wella Color Charm Demi Activating Lotion is a lower volume developer and should only be used with our Wella Color Charm Demi Permanent Hair Color. Mixing our Color Charm Liquid Permanent toner with the wrong developer is not recommended and will not produce the results you are looking for.

I only need half the amount that one bottle makes. Can i use half of the toner and then keep the other half (not mixed w developer) sealed for la use?

Yes you can keep what product you do not use. I still have a half a bottle of color charm toner and even 1/2 a bottle of light auburn color form 4 months ago. As long as it is not mixed with the developer it should stay good for a few months. Hope this helps.

Totally missed the step where you have to order the other item with this (the developer) but once I had both, I just have to say everyone saying it doesn't change your natural roots... are not correct lol. It completely lightened my natural hair color and made it brassy! But I'm hoping after a few washes it cools down. As for the rest of my hair, I can see the difference for sure. Not meaning to sound so negative lol but I also have to add the horrible smell from the chemicals was so bad, I had the worst headache! I also lost about 500 strands of hair. So these are all just a few things to be careful and look out for.

I use this product to tone a blonde wig to ash blonde with blends better with my skin complexion definitely would recommend for people with darker skin complexion cause this will have the perfect blonde look , like it’s coming out your head .
