An OK budget double pedal. Does the job. Budget quality. I blew out a bearing after 6 months of practice. Did not modify spring tension or anything else. Bearing just gave up on life. I secured the spring in place using a quarter sized washer. Still going 3 months later.

For the price I paid I am pretty happy. There were a few issues up front, but I was able to get them fixed: 1. The pedal kept falling apart. The tension adjusters kept coming loose. You've really got to get them as tight as possible by hand. Don't take a pair of channel locks to them or anything, but really tighten them up. 2. The pedals are unbalanced. There is one spring for the right pedal and two for the the left making it difficult to balance them out. I got rid of the spring on the left pedal and opted to go with one spring for each. That seemed to fix the issue. YMMV 3. The left pedal tends to creep forward as you play. I'm on a rug and the spikes used to hold it in place aren't doing the trick. I went' to Home depot and got the strongest velcro I could find and used the hook side on the bottom of the pedal. It grips great now Over all I am very happy with the pedal, but as someone fairly new to playing drums I found them frustrating to set up. They seem to play GREAT once you get them there and they are surprisingly responsive. Definitely exceeded my expectations. I hope my review above helps others with their setups. I would totally buy these again.

I got this along with an E kit and the pedals work good, obviously it could use some refinement but compared to the price of higher quality pedals this setup works just fine. Refinements I’d like to have would be just less slop in the components, the pedals have more side to side movement and when really playing fast the pedals just make extra noise/ clanking. For an acoustic kit, I’d doubt you’d even hear it.

It is a great pedal. I couldn't get it to work well with my electric drum trigger. It is made very well, great quality.

What can I say about this pedal? First, the beaters keep coming loose, no matter how much I tighten them. The drive shaft, is very clicky, and louder than any double bass pedal I've ever seen. So much so, it's distracting at times. Having played on some nicer pedals, I know what it should feel like, and unfortunately, these pedals don't come anywhere near to providing that pure double bass drumming experience. If you want to play at 80 bpm, this would be fine, anything other than that, don't even waste your time. Sad part about it is, this is my second set of these petals, after replacing the first set.

For the first month of having these, they were fun to learn and get used to how double pedals work. But quickly it became obvious the second pedal was always too high on tension. When I tried fixing this the first time, one of the bolts dethreaded the spot it went into from trying to tighten it a few times just trying to put it in correctly. I fixed it used some of my own hardware, but I recently tried doing the same with the other side, and the exact same thing happened. The product is as cheap as the price, they use crappy metals and trying to mess with it and perfect its tension will most likely break it. The stakes on the bottom to keep it from moving on carpet don't go nearly deep enough and it keeps moving while using it. I've learned my lesson, don't buy cheap music products, buy name brand, spend the money, it'll save you from anger after it breaks, and spending the money buying the trusted brand later.
